Dollywood Theme Park: Blazing Fury Ride Walk Off

After there were mechanical issues with the ride during the 1st scene, we were instructed to do a ride walk off from Blazing Fury at Dollywood. It's cool to see everything lit up, and how bare the floor is underneath the ride tracks. Would have been cool to do a longer walk off, but still a unique experience!

The ride looked so cool! Sad to see it not working. But at least you got to see some of the ride!

Well that would be an experience that I would not care for. It will give the people on it something to remember for sure. This is one of the fears I have always had about rides but I rode them anyway .lol

Thankfully this is a pretty tame ride and was an easy walk off. I always consider Blazing Fury more of a flat dark ride than a roller coaster.

This is absolutely my favorite ride at Dollywood, that is actually second to the Train. It is one of a few vintage dark rides that is still operational. Never had an experience with a breakdown, usually ride this one at least twice on a visit. We are fortunate to still have it at all, I am sure the old ride is pretty worn. Love the nostalgia of this one. I don't do the super coaster anymore, but I know they are great. I do still ride the Firehouse coaster. This ride dates back to June 1978 when this was Gold Rush Junction, before Dollywood. When you go back , giver her another try ! It is a little jerky and bone rattling though. By the way, this ride was built in house by the maintenance crews. I have been going to this place since it was Silver Dollar City...originally it was called Rebel Railroad. It has grown leaps and bounds, especially since Dolly purchase it

I absolutely appreciate the history you just provided! I love dark rides at all parks including WDW, so this one is loads of fun. If the line isn't too long I like to ride it each time we're there. I hope they never get rid of it. Thanks for watching!

Well, you like to get under the hood to see how things work 😉 NOW you know what is under Blazing Fury's hood....Hope that they have some good Craftsman tools😂
