Great film! Really enjoyed it! I've just got back from Campitello - we skied the Sella Ronda clockwise and over to Marmolada. Best ski area I've ever been to. Not sure how you got to Cortina though! 🤔

Thank you for the comment. The opening scene is from Val di Fassa (which was the hidden gem of the trip). The skiing near Campitello is exceptionally good with amazing views. Just noticed your mountain biking videos. I’ll have to check them out!

Is there a lift you'd recommend getting a hotel by?

I’ve always stayed closer to Santa Cristina/Saslong gondola because it’s easily accessible by bus from Bozen train station and accommodation is more affordable. Selva is the next town over and on the Sellaronda (better location) and has 2 major chairs/gondolas. If money was no object than Corvara/Boe gondola is the best location in the Dolomites (it’s central to everything). The opening scenes are near Arabba which has phenomenal terrain near Mt. Marmolada. Arabba is much more complicated to get to via public transportation/shuttle so I’ve never stayed there, just skied there.

@@danlindner7115 Have you ever stayed at the Forestis? I'm planning on taking my family there, but also the Fanes at Selva seems pretty good. Which location offers better skiing tracks. Thanks

Hi Dan, magnificient film, I like the scenery. In addition, it should be save to wear a helmet, esp. after 3:18.

Thanks neurogem! Definitely agree on wearing a helmet moving forward.

How long did it take you to ski from Val Gardena to Cortina?
@danlindner71155 ай бұрын
I remember getting a late start because I was jet lagged, but I barely made it back in time before the lifts close. Maybe 7 hours?
@Rem3894 ай бұрын
It seems to me, from Selva to Cortina, you cannot go directly by ski. Only through Corvara ... there is no ski route from Corvara to Cortina - if I remember 🙂
@danlindner71154 ай бұрын
@@Rem389 you can’t ski from Corvara to Cortina but you ski from Corvara to Armentarola and then take a short shuttle ride to Passo Falzarego. There is a new Skyline gondola that connects Cortina to Passo Falzarego and you can ski the hidden valley back to Armentarola and on to Corvara, so you can ski/ski lifts from Cortina back to Corvara/Selva without taking a bus. I plan on making a video soon of that one-way journey. :)
