Let me tell you why dolph getting released hurts me. When I was little and just getting into wwe my great grandma used to watch it with me as she was the one that got me into it and gave me a Rey Mysterio figurine for Christmas. We use to live watching edge,dolph,and Vicky arguing and the matches. Her favorite was edge and we loved watching the rivalry. Growing up with dolph and seeing him go just hurts

I don't understand how could people blame Veer or Jinder for the release of these wrestlers, it's not like Veer CAME to vince or who ever runs wwe now and said "Fire These talented wrestlers", those are people to, and they also make thier living off wrestling. There were rumors that dolph requested his release in 2019 but Vince McMahon refused. I believe the reason dolph got released is because his contract is up and I think they knew he wasn’t gonna resign because apparently he wants to take a break and pursue his outside projects. I feel it was more of a mutual release. Don’t be surprised to see him back in the next 5 years

I swear Dolph will make a comeback out of nowhere a few years down the line and gets treated like a proper legend. Just to leave an example here, im so sure when he would return for the 26 Rumble he would get a massiv pop, (and now the fantasy starts) commentary puts on their surprised pikachu faces and praises him for his HoF worthy career as a several time world champion, mitb winner. From there built him up for a few months and give him one last IC title reign, proper 6-8 months, lots of great matches, ending it with a bloodfeud match at WM, losing, leaving, HoF introduction the year after. For one last great run, he just need to be booked to win a majority of matches. I could even imagine his only loss being the last match at WM, to really give that rub to the new ic champ.
