Over ten episodes, I will be talking about ten of my favorite unported arcade games. There are a massive amount of games that never left arcades and these are some of my favorites!
On this episode we are looking at Dolphin Blue, an amazing run and gun game from some of the makers of the Metal Slug series. It's basically Metal Slug with more dolphins...and you can't go wrong with that!

It definitely has the Naomi/dc aesthetic (colors etc.) . Great game .

Definitely. Atomiswave is just a Dreamcast with more sound ram so the fact they look aesthetically similarly makes perfect sense

My expectations where high when I first played this game on the Naomi, but I was kind of disappointed. The walking animation looks off, the level and bosses are uninteresting, and it just doesn't have the charm and goofiness of Metal Slug.

Some people seem to feel the same way you do. While it may not have the level of detail the Slug games have I still genuinely enjoy it to the same level as the Slugs

@@VideoGameEsoterica 94-98 ads i pulled from old gaming mags, EGM, Next Gen etc...i found some of them hilarious and saved them. Just got around to scanning them for me. Got three more folders to scan yet.

Not a fan of this aesthetic. Prefer all 2-D like Metal Slug and the first MvC.

I don’t mind it as much. Granted pixel art is awesome but I’d rather the hybrid than had they gone pure 3D

@@VideoGameEsotericasame. I just saw this and i think this is called 2.5D but whatever it's called I'm also a fan of as well as the sprite based stuff.
