The casting for Young Dom is spot on. Not just the looks but the mannerisms too.

In the next movie it will be revealed that dom's father is still alive and became a brainwashed assassin controlled by cipher and it's up to dom and jakob to save him

Funny how Jakob is never mentioned when Dom tells this story to Brian in the first film

Yeah, he's the other son all right, the one we never heard of before. The son that got introduced to a franchise that went from illegal underground street racing to low-tier James Bond stuff. Not only that, Vin Diesel literally only made this character and casted John Cena because Vin didn't like The Rock and Cena was supposed to be the next Rock in terms of Wrestling and all. I am glad I stopped after Tokyo Drift, that was the last FF. All the other FF's were just bogus.

The flashback scenes were the only good scenes in Fast & Furious 9, but adding Jakob into the story kinda ruins the basis of Dom’s backstory and he wasn’t mentioned in any of the previous films. Anyway F&F7 was the real ending to the franchise. 8, 9, 10 and Hobbs & Shaw are just non-canon cash grabbing junk.

You absolutely cannot beat the plot armor and conveniences in this movie. Characters appear out of thin air, points are added to story that have been set in stone for the past 8 movies…blah, F&F films are everything wrong with blockbuster cinema now.

Terrible movie. If the Jason Statham scene wasn't in Tokyo drift then the franchise could have ended on movie 5. I like Tokyo drift alot, shame the main lead was just a bit stiff. 4th movie also really good in my opinion, brings back Dom and Brian, has an awesome street race. 5th movie being the big heist movie, introducing Hobbs who was an awesome character. But due to the end credit Jason Statham scene aswell as hobbs being shown that letty was alive, the 6th movie was a thing and honestly wasn't a bad movie either. Guy who plays Shaw is a great actor, had cool elements like the ramp car. 7th movie gives context to Jason Statham & circles back around to Tokyo drift which is cool. But the whole gods eye garbage was so poor and Ramsey was a pointless addition. And then the farewell to Brian at end, should've and could've ended there. The introduction of cipher is so bad I can't stand her character, literally what even are her motives. Mr nobody just being the plot armour for han being alive is also pathetic. Giving dom a brother to justify another movie is pathetic. Cardi bs cameo was pathetic. Going to space was pathetic. Having aqua man as the new villain is pathetic. Like hey remember the guy from the 5th movie, well turns out he had a son and he was in the car on the bridge during the vault chase, never saw him though. And he stood menacingly by where the vault was stolen from, off camera though. (Going by what I saw in the trailer) So yeah fuq it he can be the new bad guy. The fact the villain from the 2nd movie never came back is criminal.
