Domestic abuse is not limited to couples only. I was abused by my son l didn't have helpful friends or family. Because he didn't beat me black and blue l didn't think it was abuse. People concentrate too much on physical abuse.Some men just use mental or verbal cruelty. What my son did is now a crime but it wasn't then. This type of abuse is every bit as damaging.

Abuse is not nice as I no what its like I was a child all way up and I thought I was alone and didn't no what to do I went in school with marks on me in primary school and a teacher said come here so I went to bathroom with the teacher and she pulled up my top and I was only in year 4 and I had carpets burns all over my back and I said to her it was my brothers playing a game as my brother's said it was and then she give me a ice pack and then the next day come in with black eye and my brother push me on the table and then when I grow up stick up for my self my mum didn't like it so she tried her best to nock me back and I had bullies hurting me and my mum shouting and screaming and hurting my feelings so I told my mum I was getting bullied and they push me in lockers she said good hope they nock stuff in to u don't no why I was bullied
