Damn, that looks brilliant! Makes me want it even though I have no use for a swag. 🤣 Some really nicely thought out features in that swag. I’m impressed with how Dometic is putting so much through into their new range of stuff. I would’ve loved to have seen it all packed up into the bag to get a ‘real life’ idea of the pack size.

Super thorough run through Ben and some really neat design ideas there. Never thought I'd be a swag person but this looks great, and been looking for something that might suit pitching on a roof tray and this with its inflatable style would mean no climbing to move or configure poles.

Try a 23zero swag - super east to put up and you don't need a pump .

The only limitation with a Ute tray is that you'd need to peg the corners, if you can facilitate this then it would be a great option. ~ Ben

Might still be a bit heavy and bulky for hiking I reckon, Brad, most hiking tents are sub-2kg. ~ Ben

Ben I look for your videos a well done very informative effort thankyou. I like the compact packing of these inflatable swags. Dometic to be able to open the end mesh to access the outer ends would be great for my (Bagged) motorcycle helmet and (Bagged) Boots. This would also act as another exit if one was to have a zipper problems. (one exit not good) . The reason I have bothered to mention these things is there is a huge Motorcycle Market for this swag! Look I have to say for the I always use a Thermal ground tarp here in WA Heat and rotten Double Gees are the curse. So please consider this people not only for inflatables but any ground contact. Thankyou Ben great effort I hope this gets through to the design team. 2 extra zips and reasonable price increase would be fair. Thankyou.

This product is amazing!! I’m looking to use this for Motorcycle Camping. Am I able to pair this swag with a light weight stretcher to get it off the ground? 😊

Thats a great question! We've not actually tried it out, but the light stretchers we're aware of eg. Helinox, EPE, Naturehike, etc are all about 25cm narrower than the swag. I've just had a look at some of the smaller standard single stretchers, and they're also around 20cm narrower. The only stretchers that are compatible with this size swag are quite large and heavy, and definitely not something you'd want to be carting on a motorcycle. ~ Lauren

I haven't tried this sorry. You'd need to use a stretcher on which you could anchor the corners such as the Coleman Swagger Stretcher. You'd also need to extend the guy ropes so they can reach the ground. So I'd say it's doable with some improvisation. ~ Ben

@@SnowysOutdoors Most traditional swag poles push outwards which helps on a stretcher. I wasn't sure with the airframe if it also had that push out effect but like you said just improvise. I plan on getting the ARB stretcher which is super quick to set up without the head/toe spreader bars which I hate, haha. Thanks Ben.

@@sinistra328 the air poles don't have the same 'outward pressure' that the frames on dome swags do, so you'd just need something to hold the corners in place. Quite doable though I reckon. ~ Ben

Hi Ben. Is this swag inflatable by mouth or do you need a special pump? Thinking of space saving on a motorcycle. Great video, cheers

I reckon you'd need some big lungs to inflate this by mouth, kiwipirate60. Inflation by mouth also introduces other potential issues with moisture inside the frame and mat. I'd recommend sticking with a pump. ~ Ben
