The story of one of St. Louis’ venerable Italian restaurants is one of hard work, family and, of course, pasta.

Salve signor Galati. Sono il nipote di Orazio Catanzaro. Mi volevo sinceramente congratulare per quello che lei e sua moglie siete riusciti a realizzare nelle vostre vite. Distinti saluti dalla Sicilia.

Always worked in St. Louis. Friends would always talk about The Hill. All the good restaurants there. I will go there one day to have real Italian pasta 🍝. Real spaghetti. Before I die.

Love this family, but PLEASE either close Clayton or make it wonderful again. Adore them both so much.

I was in the Navy with a guy from the Hill. His name was Dave Pedroli, he was a great guy. I hope I spelled it correctly.

Amazing story! One of the nicest love stories as well! I hope to one day visit St. Lous, and come to your restaurant. My great grandfather, Liberio Galati, & his son Edward Dominic Galati, immigrated from Palermo, Sicily.. looks like a good chance we could be related! ♡
