I seem to recall, when I was in sixth form, between 2011 and 2013, possibly around 2012 time me and some school mates used to go to our local Dominos, and every Friday they would sell personal pizza's for £1. It wasn't a "special deal" thing and it went on for months, although it was only on a Friday lunchtime after midday if I recall.

All stores are operated by different franchises, and even within one franchise all stores could have different deals It gets super confusing because all of the franchises use the same marketing materials but with their own promotion, so it could have been a real promotion, but only in one store. The reason you couldn't find it on the app or the website is because of the different deals, so you'd have had to enter the store name with the deal to see it
