Both Milady and the Wing Stance AoW are in Castle Ensis. Milady super early, and Wing stance very hidden, right before you fight the Rembrance boss of the area. Could run straight to castle Ensis from the start of the DLC and have both in well under an hour, if you know where to go

i agree with him on most things besides the fact he said the bosses are not that much harder and they are this is bad info from him and if you go in with a maxed out strength with the giant crushers+ prelate it will be easier when you do 3k per jump attack.

I got the Milady 40 minutes in and it's really easy to find as well. It's about as well hidden as the dectus medallion pieces in the base game. While it doesn't have the ash of war, the light attack combo and the guard counter make it worth using alone.

I fell like Milady is pretty close to the start. I got it in the first half hour but yeh I was profoundly disappointed to realise its cool stuff is behind another ash of war. Its basic patterns missed a lot and I felt a drastic drop in power (connected more with beast claws) lol. As I get used to it it is getting better

you can literally make a bee-line to it and get it without fighting anyone. The ash of war takes maybe another 10 minutes, and most of that is just getting TO where it is.

I also found it after like 3 hours, and that was after leisurely going through Belurat, the divine beast and a few towns and small places in Gravesite Plains. I think him creating false expectations by exaggerating the DLC’s length can do more harm than the corrections in the video

I think the average person aka the people complaining about difficulty will have a drastically longer playtime than many of us going in with our maxed out characters. I mean 60% of the player base hasn’t even beaten Mohg, so yeah lol.

Please somebody answer me this: Does your Shadow Realm Blessing level carry over to NG+? If so, does the game expects you to already have a decent SRBL when you play the DLC on NG+? I just started the DLC on my 201 character on NG+1 and despite having good stats my character takes ages to kill stuff and die in 2/3 hits. Mind you, outside the DLC I can melt everything, but inside I feel at a massive disadvantage numbers wise. Is it normal? I feel like the game already expects me to have plenty of Scadutree Fragments already consumed on NG+

Thank you so much for this video! I just a few hours in and I love everything in this game.. I feel confident because after so much gameplay of the normal game i am very well prepared.. I am playing a Level 150 80 strength minimalistic build with great stars.. Rykards great rune and takers cameo give me almost 400 hp for every killed enemy.. That is my survival set up..

Hmm I only fought one real boss so far, the first one in Belurat, and I don't think that he(or it^^') is a pushover.. Yes the damage I do is pretty normal, but he two-shoted me and had a decently difficult moveset. Did you use spirit ashes (or other summons)?

What about NG+ scaling? So I wouldn’t think higher levels make the DLC harder but typically if you’re level 350, you are probably on NG+++. Like many of us, I have dozens of builds in various states of NG. I did create 3 builds that are all around 150 and still in NG. However, I’m curious does NG+ effect DLC difficultly? I would assume that does?

I can’t wait to play this dlc! I haven’t played Elden Ring for 2 years now. Bought it a few weeks after launch, got the plat, but then put my games into Cash Converters on pawn but lost em all! Should be much harder, you will really have to look around for scadutree fragments. I had beaten the DLC on base NG then I entered with my lvl410 NG+7 character and it's absolutely unplayable even tho I grabbed the upgrades early.

I found milady like 3 hours in and have it paired with the lightning dash and it's a ton of fun, bolt of gransaxx still is amazing and has been largely carrying me through the legacy dungeons/catacombs by allowing me to take a good chunk of enemies out before they even know where it came from Speaking of not knowing where they came from, how bout that living jar lore

I must have went the wrong way cause I found the Milady within a few hours. Still haven’t found the ash of war tho. He’s right about the bosses not being too hard. Unless you bring summons, then the buffs they get are no joke…especially the health pool. Had someone with me during the Castle Ensis boss and we kept dying. Then I decided to go back solo and ended up winning so much easier.

Yes, i believe there are 3 new ones 😊 and instead of being full on walking mausoleums you need to be on the look out for a single Sarcophagus laying around, it's these that you interact with now!

Went in at level 125 and can confirm hitting bosses with a normal katana is like stabbing them with a toothpick. Had no idea or would have ground it out ages ago. Still feels incredible just being in there getting pulverised!

If you're at max level at base game, you will probably find it quite easy! I went in with a 200 character for my 2nd playthrough and found it lost the difficulty a bit!

He's makimg general statements for the general playerbase. Some of us are hounds and find stuff easy and early. Others literally take 10 hours to get to the first legacy dungeon. Keep looting and discovering stuff and maybe one of these vids will help you too :)

I am in some Elden aring Facebook groups and I have gotten SO TIRED of people saying “your level won’t matter.” It’s really silly because like if you think about it logically for even a single second it makes no sense. How would it work? Would just going into the DLC reset your vigor to that of someone with level 10 vigor, and the same for every stat? And then getting scadutree fragments increases everything at a constant rate? So builds just don’t even have a purpose anymore? The crazy thing is that you have to be so bad at critical thinking to believe this that I genuinely think people will still think this AFTER playing.

The new scadutree system is way stronger than rune levels, a well geared lvl1 with max scadutree level is probably stronger than a lvl713 with no scadutree upgrades.
