So I did miss two things 😳 The Carian Sword can be found in the area where I mentioned not to drop back down into Castle (around the 16 minute mark) and also behind Garrew is a ladder, climb this to get the Arrow's Soaring Sting Taliman! Sorry I was not on my game!

Please use your natural voice more. You can hear it in places and its do much better than the forced slow pronouncation of every word. Its Like Soeaking Like This Like You're Cap Locking Every Word.

@@bretn7 I have the opposite viewpoint. @DomsRoundtable - Your careful narration, with good enunciation of words, is a breath of fresh air compared to all of the other gamer youtube videos, where they speak unintelligibly, mispronounce words, and go too fast for you to actually learn the important tips. Keep up the great work, and please, audition for some commercial voiceover narration jobs, you have the perfect voice for it.

Missed a weapon. If you drop back onto the castle after going through the Rellana fight you can get Carian Sorcery Sword in a chest. This is area he goes to after going through the teleporter he mentions a ghost glovewort 4, it is just passed that point. There is nothing else there.

I absolutely loved Demon's Scar in DS3 but this doesn't feels as good BUT... I've created a while back a thrusting carian Knight mostly dex based + with Moongrum Shield so this weapon is perfect for this build 🙏🏼

@DomsRoundtable - I love the new format where, after each item is picked up in the video, you show a shot of the map with a location pin and the name of the item next to the pin. This is AMAZINGLY USEFUL and completely clarifies everything. LOVE IT.

Not sure if anyone has already said this, but if you go to the left of the building where garrew was, you can drop down and make your way up to the top of that tower and loot the soaring sting arrows talisman

The misleading "hidden path ahead" messages have gotten so frequent, it makes me wonder if FromSoft seeded them so that it would go back to being a challenge for people to find the *real* illusory walls. My little conspiracy theory 😆

Rellana is FEROCIOUS and I'm glad to hear you giving her the respect she earns! She took me three or four tries on my first character into the DLC, felt like I seriously earned that one. Also thanks for mentioning the Wing Stance! That's the first thing I've actually missed so far ^^;; The area with the bird warrior can be reached endgame too, so the Imbued Sword isn't the only way to reach it. But getting the disc early is great for heavy builds!

Same I only missed wing stance in this p4 of series too! Verdigris Discus - % resistance is based on if character is in Heavy Load or Overloaded. Does nothing at medium load. There were theories that you just need to fill up a high equip load or have so much endurance to have a very high medium load. But I think its all fake news. I tried a mix of solitude, bulls, lionels with and without on heavy, overloaded and medium. 50 endurance +5 great rune with DCG talisman, One with great jars and erdtrees favor+2 and one without. Making sure to get medium load with one weight off being put into heavy load with talisman equiped. Talisman did nothing in medium, increased in heavy load physical DR to 74.1 by 2.8 and overloaded DR to 77 by 5.7 from the (medium load DR 71.3 talisman does nothing). It's only giving me that much because although not fully bull boats, its still a heavy armor pairing to already start at 71.3 . The less damage negation you start with , the more in heavy load and overloaded the talisman would give. But the closer the damage negation is to 100 the better.. as in reality that damage reduction received is alot more than these small negation numbers.

One thing I am finding confusing (and I’m looking forward to your guide on this) is the Leda summons questline. It seems like you have four choices that result in different outcomes in terms of possible helpful summons for boss fights and dropped gear. 1. you can invade hornsent and ansbach 2. you can help hornsent but this stops you from helping ansbach apparently. 3. you can skip helping or invading hornsent and then help ansbach. 4. you can invade hornsent and then help ansbach. (and I guess you could skip both leda summons event). Seems like there is a lot of unique loot depending on which of these paths you take.

Moonrithyll can be killed without ever entering Castle Ensis. From the Highroad Cross Site of Grace approach the castle on the right hand side, make your way around the ledge, and if you look carefully you can see him outside his room. The Jar cannon makes short work of him and rewards you with his sword. You can then drop down and cross the waterfall to reach the location of the Carian Sorcery Sword too.

FYI, You can use Mogh chackle to reveal hidden magicians the same mechanic as for hidden entries.

There's one more talisman to grab going behind the tower where you defeat the likitung black knight and climbing up the ladder.

If you go behind the teleporter you can drop down on middle part of the castle. If you manage to land of the castle fence when dropping down, you can follow the fence and from there jump to the roof of a building to the right. From there you can get on the mountain ridge and find an item.

Nice vid - the section when you head down that last ladder into the flame cannon soldiers section - you can actually walk back along the ramparts (in the direction you came into the castle from I think) and then drop down behind everyone to avoid those flame cannons.

After you come out of that dark tunnel and see the black knight patrolling, look to your right and you will see several soldiers at a campfire, Kill them and then you can drop over the wall onto a ledge which leads back through to the items you are seeing but cannot reach.

Correct. You will not break the seal if you use the teleporter. tested this last night.

Yo man you forgot a part… if you go around the castle thing where you killed Black knight Garrow and then go up some stairs, there’s a chest on top of the Tower. I can’t remember what’s in it, but you missed it either way.

If anyone needs to farm knot resin, there are 3 in the woods north of scadu altas west grace. Just have to sneak around the knight on horseback.

I find it kind of ironic that the one hidden wall I found purely on my own didn't have a note on it at all! Having said that, I think I found it from the opposite side to how you're supposed to find it (I fell into a pit)

Actually, Dom, in that small bit of Rauh Ancient Ruins, there is also a beast horn on a corpse, on a slightly raised section at the foot of the west wall 😊

You missed a Talisman, to the left of the boss who dropped the Blacksteel Greatshield there is a ledge you can drop down on that leads around the back of the fort to a ladder.

you missed a shield, at the far right at the end of that part where Moonrithyll is, there is a edge you can jump off it takes you to a chest, that has the wolf something shield, is prety good looking

If u miss the telaport u can get up there later by jumping down adter a fight to. Collect it... this is how I found it

You missed talisman in the last area, so all you need to do is to go behind the building with the chest and scale the ladder to the top.

Nice. If you^re as bad as I am you can cheese the Moonthryll knight with arrows. I actually knocked him over the cliff edge where the 3 crystal page mage guys are. That was hilarious. For more hilarity, those red barrels in the fort explode if you use fire on them. Very useful for quickly taking down enemies :)

Yeah the messages section is why I usually play offline my first playthrough of a souls game lol. I would rather discover the secrets myself or find them looking them up than get frustrated dealing with all the troll messages all over the place.

You missed the Carian Sorcery Sword which is a bit trick you can cast spells using the heavy attack!

@@puff3nuff482 no its a thrusting sword that has a fast light attack but casts whatever spell you have active as the heavy attack (although not staff strength) and a strong thrust as the ash.

You forgot the lower part of the castle, where you find the max defense talisman against magic damage. It's super useful for the fight against Reminilia or whatever she's called.

Just a heads up, but Scadu is pronounced as shadow. It's Old English, just like how gaol is jail. Other than that, great video!

I have q badass ash of war,, it smashes enemy HARD, but also HEALS me and my alies! So me and dung eater pupet getitng hUGE Masive heals even just tanking theh hits on this hard boss here.

The second most disappointing area of the dlc imo (Cerulian coast/Charo’s grave being first), because exploring feels so unrewarding due to the mostly awful loot. I can literally buy infinite lower level smithing stones, why are they here?

Day 1 I stomped Rellana as my first boss of the dlc, found one of the very out of the way obscure caves with almost no messages or bloodstains and in the middle of it a useless message that looks like any other 0 appraisal one with 6000ish appraisals. Ones with positive appraisals are more likely to appear, with negative becoming far less likely to appear. Why would some useless "PRAISE THE MESSAGE, AND ELDEN RING" get anywhere near 6000 appraisals in the middle of an obscure out of the way dungeon on day 1?

People put shitty messages up because they're likely to be disparaged, but they still get a heal if they're in game. A shitty fake secret message will get a lot of downvotes, which means a lot of heals. Fromsoft just needs to tie heals to positive votes only.

I thought rellana was incredibly easy. I must've dropped her under 1 minuet on the first attempt. Messer was probably the hardest so far for me but I'd say I beat him within an hour of getting to him.

Did you use bleed on rellana? I beat her on NG+ in 45 seconds with backhand blades

I did not. Always go with the great sword & never really bother with status build ups. I was on NG+4

Theres just something so comical about carrying around 2 giant colossal weapons in this game...its a super handy build, but i just cant do it myself...looks to goofy😅 Wanted to edit as well: im also fed the hell up with messages in this game. Not just misleading, but always at the tops of ladders and in front of fog walls making it difficult to do certain actions...plus they also ruin the immersion. I get to a new place ive never been, look around feeling good cuz im "the first one there" only to see the area a few steps in littered with "other people". There should be a way to turn them off IMO
