Don Alhart started his career at 13WHAM-TV in Rochester (then known as WOKR) on June 6, 1966. Exactly 58 years later, the man honored by Guinness World Records for “longest career as a television news broadcaster" will anchor his final broadcast.

I've had the pleasure of working with local broadcasters across America for many years. Don is one of the most dedicated and hard-working journalists I've met along the way. He's never stopped learning, applying, getting better. Congratulations, Don, on your upcoming retirement. We will miss you on the air.
