Thanks for the interview. I've followed Don and the band since their inception to the world. This was nice to watch and learned a lot about the past. I'm a bit unusual when it comes to my favorite tune by Don. My favorite, which this was not easy to choose, the song actually comes from Don's 1st solo project. I was there and had it in my hands the moment it went on sale and to this day, Crash and Burn, the opening track on Up In Flames, is my absolute favortie. It showcases beautiful guitar work, but I think it showcase Don's Vocals on a level of excellence this album has. It's the one band and Man, you could say I'm a fanboy on. The Vocals is what put them on the map. Unique and completely different from anything at the time. Love his vocals then and even now. Thank You Don Dokken for the memories brother.

Always stood by him. Saw him close to my home in Springfield (west) at our annual BIG E fair. Let me tell you I’m 65 and the crowd was a mix of us older folks and more younger kids than I expected. I bet there was 6k people there outside in a medium-sized venue. Incredible energy in the crowd. Awesome to see them again, even way too long since they came out to New England so hopefully they can come back to promote the new album, we’re behind you Don…..great interview! Living in Connecticut my whole life was so happy to see Chris and BJ in the line up. Our boys….

Love Don Dokken. People are strange... pointing out to him that he skipped the high notes at his current age. I did not know there is a Bb5 in 'Kiss of Death', the highest I can make out is G5 (still extremely high). To my knowledge, his highest notes are the A5's in 'Seven Thunders' (awesome).

Was hoping that the fact that Dokken already had released a song titled "I Remember" on the Lightning Strikes Again album. Wondering if it's the same song but redone differently or a completely different song. Or if Don even realizes this.

I went to see dokken this past July in Michigan and like Don said they played to high to fly and their were people who didn't know that song their are alot of fans who only want to hear the first 4 albums, myself I love songs of all the albums so hopefully they incorporate songs off most of the albums

When Don talks about Shadow Life and the band hating his voice, parlaying that solely into a George comment, says my voice made you famous, and takes a drag from a cigarette...it wasn't Don's voice that made anyone in the band famous, it was the combination of all of their talents. Obviously, he can do what he wants and smoke, but if you are still singing live now and the biggest criticism is his own voice, why? Guess he doesn't care?

As a smoker myself at 45 the smoking in this video answers my lost range question. I need to switch to vaping immediately. I read somewhere that Lisa Stansfield quit smoking at 50 and she said she got most of her range back after a couple months. I haven't had a chance to hear the new album yet but Don has been one of my favorite singers along with Rob Halford and George Michael since I was a teenager.

The fans have been pretty cruel some of them you definitely can still sing, you just got to now do it differently screw them especially for all you've been through I have pain issues myself, I have a suggestion might help your throat ect I use it for dry mouth works great act 2 or biotene dry mouth gum chew 2 pieces I also smoke and some of medication also drys my throat bad it helps , any drug store or supermarket tooth paste isle 😘, and I love how down to earth and honest you are ect

Yeah, I stopped supporting George Lynch a long time ago when I got a crappy Lynch Mob CD with a DVD, and the live show video wasn't the same as the audio. Very rarely do you get a decent song from George.

I never knew that Juan left Dokken because he didn't get along with Lynch - that's the first time I've heard that. I always thought it was because Ratt were pressuring him to make a commitment and had better prospects at the time. It was probably a bit of both. I've got to say, despite George's best attempts to bad-mouth Don all these years (which only served to make George look bad) Don comes across as a much more decent and likeable person. George comes across a vindictive egotistical asshole, just totally unreasonable.

Don is always too rigid. To spend time & money making high-end videos.Videos That get played where? He is living in the past. To play live & not play the hits is ridiculous. George is constantly busy. Making cool records of such variety & with great players. Modern music, classic Dokken style records. He builds guitars that sell for 20k . He is not just making the records for $.George is in great shape & plays with younger guys who are all still on their game. Don needs to call it a day. It looks like he doesn't need the money. Has a hell of a house& land. After that botched surgery. He should relax & enjoy himself the best he can.
