richoo2010 I disagree particularly since we are in the comic age of the movies and have the action movies of the 80s making a comeback next year with Terminator, Rambo 5, Top Gun 2 in fact it's the perfect time.

Crockett's look in season 1&2 was so cool and stylish, I loved and still love that fashion, the pastels with no earth tones, we saw it in Scarface as well, white trousers with say a turquoise top was such a cool look.

Regan and Carter, Starskey and Hutch, Crockett and Tubbs, Riggs and Murtaugh...those were the days...to paraphrase Captain Janeway, of course the whole lot of them would be booted out of law enforcement today. But if I were a cop, just once I'd love to ride shotgun with a group of police officers like that.

Back then, quite a few bars and even pubs had blinds, Athena paintings and plush sofas. And there was the music. Imagine having a pint seated on a sofa😃. And you could do so without any fear of knife crime or any other violence. I miss those days.

I REMEMBER THE 80,S FASHION ETC ETC. Shoes with NO socks and the "THE GRAND DAD" Tops, buttons ONLY went so far. LOVED it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don Johnson was a party in an appeal, probably more than ten years ago, in the reviewing court in Los Angeles where I worked. I was the clerk in the courtroom the day the case was calendared for oral argument. The Presiding Justice telephoned me from the robing room before the case was called and asked if Johnson was in the courtroom. I answered in the affirmative. “If you can, see if he’s wearing socks.” I answered, “Negative, Your Honor, I already checked.” You could hear the judge’s roar of laughter throughout the courtroom.

The original casting members should have been in the remake of Miami Vice... the other guy didn't have the finesse to play Crockett...

Well, 80's music, the best. But i dont understand why the generation that lived that era and also my generation (gta vice city) seems to be stuck in the 80's, like if the time was frozen. Here's am example: I ask my mom another day: "hey, how old you think mel gibson is? She said: "maybe 40's...". xD Yeah, rigth. Dont know why...people think that the 80's are just 10 years older.
