Because support are sensitive snowflakes that expect you to carry the match while reassuring them constantly that it was them that enabled you and they're the ones that deserve praise. Also you must constantly thank them for healing or reviving you, and you better babysit them if they get flanked Imagine if i started asking my teammates to thank me everytime i hit a javelin to cancel the Hog hook or TAB "hey i did my job so thank me or I'll stop doing it"

@@Hope_Prevail as a support main I still always find myself instinctively thanking a tank or dps for the littlest things, like just simply stepping back to pick me up as a mercy from spawn. I understand I can’t speak for every support but I hope you meet one that appreciates your plays!

@@Kaby_CantDraw tbf the only support players I'll ever trust are those who can flex any role, because they understand how each role plays and what they need from you to be able to make plays Most support i come across just want you to do everything for them, when I'm playing support i understand that my teammates for example should LOS me for healing but at the same time I'm constantly changing positions from high ground to high ground to get better lines of sight not just sit in one spot and expect my dps to come to me each time Or this is what pisses me off the most, support that duo with another tank or dps feel obligated to shove that healing so far up their duo ass no matter how good or awful they're playing or how little value they're bringing to the team and then give you the usual excuse "but i have 4k healing" Healing stats means little if you're just padding stats by pocketing tanks while your Squishies are struggling Oh and don't get me started on kirko players last night i had a kirko that kept dying and wasn't bringing any value to the team so i asked them to swap to something easier and it's like i said some racist homophobic shit because they took those two words personally that's why I'm saying they're sensitive af

@@AshiSlashii idk what rank you play at but in masters it's the other way around because the majority of support players are boosted duos while dps usually solo Q and carry their own weight up the ladder

It's not about stats, and even though junker queen is a brawl tank and brig generally does well in that scenario but not specifically against junker queen because you wanna keep your distance to prevent giving her value. Not saying the brig did bad, nor am i saying she did well idk i wasn't there I'm just saying my 2cents on the subject

@@Hope_Prevail I just hear it quite often every time I pick Brig. It's annoying. This situation you're right, who knows based on the little bit you see. And yeah stats aren't the whole story. When you play Lucio if you're playing him correctly your healing is going to be well below most supports. With Brig it's controlling space and defending that back line, there's no stats for that lol.

It just seems out of the blue that the Kiriko had such a strong reaction to the others just goofing around and then mentioning something about asking if they were gay, especially when the first part of the round is cut out.
