Aaahhhhh Bauhaus ... See, this is why I think we found each other ... Our ideas are similar. I believe very much that applied arts is just as worthy as fine arts to have the title 'Art'. Being 'creative' and how one chooses to be creative in their practice is still art no matter how it is applied. People have the right to like or dislike a piece, but it was still 'created' using a creative process, putting ideas, colour, shape etc down to create a piece of art. I love your journals ... ❤

Hahaha. You know I actually used to think Bauhaus was... I don't know, hard to grasp. I was like, so what? But being a practitioner at an academic institution I realize how that was an innovation and it still is now. Can you believe I visited Munchen two years ago and did not visit Bauhaus (about few hours on train)!!! Will do next time. Would love to give you one when I make more later💚

@@yubistudio I think Bauhaus has it's place in the arts, definitely. But for me, I'm not into all that ......... 🤔 .......... overthinking. I don't know if that is the correct phrase to use, but after researching I'm glad I wasn't there at the time of its height of fame. But that is just me. I know other people will see it differently. Watching you make your journals has inspired me to try and get back to making my own. I made my own instead of buying my journals when I was in school, and they were fun to make. I just need to find the motivation and inner strength to do so. I'm so glad I found you ☺️

@@SmithCaro Haha. I know what you mean. I liked their initial start I think, but not really fan of what they ended up being direction more towards architecture and using mediums that represents mecanical reproduction of that time. So I'm there with you. Saw your signatures on IG! So exciting🥹 making signatures is one of my favorite parts. No rules. Just touching paper and mixing them together...📚 I'm so glad my vlog did give you some strength. Really means a lot to me. The reason why I keep editing vlogs is to find people resembling myself as an artist and to encourage🤍

@@yubistudio ... We have a whole lot of paper bags as we have our shopping delivered and I thought to myself: You enjoy working on brown paper, why not use them. So, when I get some energy back I will be cutting up some paper bags ... ☺️ ... Your vlogs and videos are very encouraging to me. I'm beyond happy that I found you. I was talking to my sister about you the other day and she was happy I found you as well. She knows my mental state the most and knows certain things are hard for me, so she is happy I was able to find you ... ☺️❤️
