We've been getting emails left and right from companies claiming that we could get up to $26,000 per employee with ERTC. Now, that is true, but you have to QUALIFY for the program! ERTC mills have been popping up to sell ERTC services without any regard for the company's ability to qualify for the program.

Yep. Owner's wife signed a contract with one of these companies. She yold them to contact me for payroll reports. I told the company we don't qualify because of this and that and they got angry and said we signed contract so have to send info. I yold them owner's wife isn't a partner of the corp and is just an employee so she didn't have authorization. We had substantial increased profits (started webpage advertising that worked well) for startes and secondly owner (as sole proprietor LLC) didn't maintain monthly/quarterly reports, just year end calculations for tax filing. This company didn't care that we failed 2 of the 3 requirements to even file!!!! Besides if you get these credits you're just opening a door for future audit because the IRS will be looking these over for fraud eventually and who wants to deal with that headache!!! Remember the old saying nothing is free!

Thank you for another great video. I could not find the other videos or the worksheet you mentioned re qualifying for ERTC for my business, but in the meantime I had a question: is there a minimum amount of employees that I had to have to qualify for the it?

Hi Tom - here's the link to the calculator: www.claracfo.com/ertc there is no minimum number of employees, BUT you can't claim it for the business owner (even if they are an employee) or relatives of the business owner. So there are some rules that prevent related parties from claiming the credit. What would you say is a reasonable fee from your firm to process a company for ERC with 100 W2's?

I'd say no more than 15% of the credit amount (and you can still get help for less). I have seen many of these companies charging 30-35% of the credit amount UP FRONT. If you need an ERTC specialist, we have one we work with.
