I ordered this one on Amazon, at first I was more into the fascination of its functionality, to notice anything. However, after 3 weeks I experienced the hiss or fuss others have mentioned. I first tried it on my Fender G-DEC junior amp using my Fender stratocaster pro II and immediately the treble hiss was noticeable and annoying. Then I tried it at church on my Marshall AVT 275 and at first I wasn't noticing the hiss bcuz I was more for hoping all would be fine. (I was currently using a Shure UT4 wireless guitar system). But on the 3rd week, during worship practice, the hiss/fussbecame very noticeable and annoying. I switched back the cable, and all was quiet and true tones were heard again. So I returned it. Correction, the Swiff WS-70 is the one I bought.

Not good. I haven’t had any problems with the GWS-8 and have done a fair few gigs with it.. It’s lasted much longer than the Lekato system..

When i play one note the sound lasts about 1 second less than with cable. I had no problem with boss wl-20l. Tried with both active and passive pickup and it has the same result. Also full charged again but still got same issue.

I haven’t noticed that.. I have been using it live the last few months and the signal is good to start with but unless I charge it in between sets it gets worse..

This review is 2 years old. So the question is, would you still recommend it? I saw you writing that your unit died after approx. a year? So i guess it is not such a great unit after all? Edit: i received mine yesterday and returning it today. Literally the most noise from all wireless systems that i have tested! Bad gating effect that kills all the soft notes and dynamics and overlays it with audible noise with every note that you play. Might be nice for beginners to practice with but not for serious players. I have better (Lekato) systems than this on.

Did you or have you, since this video heard any fuzz or buzz in the signal? I ask bcuz I've heard it has. I too have a UT4 Shure wireless system, and I'm trying to get something easier to connect.

I used it at gigs for probably a year and then it stopped working.. I replaced it with another one around the same price (GWS-8) and haven’t had any problems so far.

@@GregFitch It's funny, after interacting with you, I saw another video by a worship leader, on the Swift WS-50 UHF wireless. His review was matched and so convincing that I ordered the WS-70 on Amazon, $72. In his demo, like you, the sound of tones did not change or loose originality. It arrives tomorrow. Guess it'll be ready for use at church on Sunday. Let you know how it goes.

Hi Greg, can I use this from elec guitar to my pedalboard (consisting of analog pedals), then on the other side from the last pedal chain to the amp I'll use a cable? Also, do I need a DI pedal for this? Thanks.

Hey Dae.. You need to put the transmitter in your guitar and the receiver in the input of the last pedal, like you would your normal cable. Then use a cable from the output of the pedal on the other side to your amp. Like you would usually. Hope that makes sense..

The pots are dirty. You can buy a spray that cleans that out. Of course you have to open device to spray pot directly. Sometimes you can just vigorously twist pot back and forth and it'll clear up. Other option is to replace it...
