The fact that Atl Brick Co gives almost full retail price as in store credit is pretty sick. Also the R2-KT is super cool imo considering the backstory of the fig. I hope the Lego community treats it well in memory of Kate.

Just FYI: the 25th anniversary strip colour is supposed to be representing silver. LEGO was been following the Anniversary Metals tradition on their box art. The thing is, the 20th Anniversary metal is Platinum. Which looks like silver. So they did the silver boxes. 25th Anniversary is actual Silver...aaaand they had already done the silver boxes. So they did that silver and blue mix to try to differentiate it. But this will be it. The next Anniversary boxes, however, won't come until the 50th Anniversary of LEGO Star Wars in 2049 and those boxes will use gold accents (assuming anyone still cares about Star Wars by then...which I'm no longer sure will happen seeing as the franchise is basically dead and Disney isn't giving any signs of showing they're willing to sell it to someone who doesn't hate it).

Hey! I just got into Lego Star Wars for the first time as an Adult and am excited to experience May The 4th for the first time! Was wondering if it is a better idea to buy new May 1st sets I want or pre-existing sets if they are on sale? AskMandR: I bought the boarding the tantive IV set, and when I opened it up, it had none of the correct pieces or minifigures in it. The corners of all the bags were cut, so I assume somebody carefully opened the box and the bags, took out all the pieces, put in their own and then resealed everything. Have you ever heard of something like this happening?

Yeah, My wife bought some things off Mercari and there is a buyer fee, payment fee, processing fee, and tax. I might be better for sellers now, but for a $550 item, we ended up paying $665. That is ridiculous.

I go to a store in grand junction called E bricks and they will give you 1/3 the price of the piece and then turn around and sell it for 3 times the price. What are your thoughts?

Selling to stores at a event or a store front is a scam. I don't know how they even stay in business. At the Atlanta Lego convention, I was offered a Coruscant Gunship and had to pay an additional $15 for a few sets I had, including the newer Mandelorian starship, the 3 in 1 pack with the snow atst, and lastly a 2020 501st battle pack.

Ask M&R: How are rare LEGO items priced? I just recently picked up a rare Lego Star Wars item, which I have no idea how many are in existence. I bought a Lego Star Wars the Force Awakens PS4 store promotional display for the game. I have a pic of it on my Instagram, same name & pfp as on here. LEGO really missed a trick with the 75300 TIE Fighter. If they had made the struts longer, it would have looked just like a Rebels-era TIE. Instead, it looks like a dumb chibi version. The 75301 X-Wing, on the other hand, is really good!
