Just get a clear case without the magsafe and buy the stick on magsafe rings. They will stand off the case enough to use any magsafe item.

The mous magsafe Samsung cases don't have the raised bump, so it sticks properly. The reason it has to be so high is for qi charging.

If I was was the case manufacturer or had bought the case with the raised edge, I would file down the edge near the magnetic ring. Others have mentioned that the charging coil within the phone in a particular location, so the magnetic ring is in the correct spot. I had a problem many years ago when a case fitted to my old S3, the aperture was too small for some USB cables. I manage to enlarge it slightly.

My only question about cases like these is which one actually aligns best with the phone's wireless charging receiver? I would hate to be limited, but if the ones that overlap the bottom camera are the ones that line up to the receiver best, then I'd prefer to use them and have the best wireless charging available. Thankfully, I've noticed some magnetic portable batteries have their magnetic services raise just a bit, so if it the receiver is higher up, they should still work just fine. Hopefully, with Qi's new standard, this won't be an issue for much longer. (Assuming manufactorers switch to it. They'd be foolist not to.)

I agree that it is off or whatever and would mess with somebody's OCD but that wallet wasn't rotating when you stuck it on there I heard it click into place and on the second case if you notice it doesn't have a raised camera thing which would present a problem of possibly damaging your camera because it doesn't have anything raised to protect it from getting damaged. I could tell that was the only reason why it didn't interfere with cuz didn't have a raised camera

Great video. Had the same issue with my 1st S23 ultra case, the case did allow my Anker 622 Magsafe battery to fit properly. After watching your video, I bought the Spigen case shown in your video and it fits perfectly. Very happy with it. Thanks!

So does such a battery charger work well with the S23 Ultra once you have a Magsafe case or there are issues as Samsung is limited to 15W?

Yeah, I'm wondering why they don't just put the massage circle on cases for s23u a little bit lower so it would clear the camera. Just a couple of mms down.

I think it depends on the position of the charging coil. If they put the magnets lower, you could use it fine but youd prohad issues charging with those magnet chargers. I could be wrong though

They should've lowered down the magnet a little bit. I don't know why the Mac safe ring is so high

I remember that some magnetic accessories ware problematic with pen function. Did you have any problem with S-PEN? Is working like it sholud (especially precision)? Are magnetic cases works ok with standard wireless chargers? What about NFC?

Yes there is a problem using the s-pen and certain touch spots on the screen.

Spigen cases bundled with spigen magsafe accessories work great. No problems with the s pen.

There is the case of the spen going funny when an attachment is connected, and the spigen reviews say that the ring can peel off. So I am unsure what else to go for. Great vid btw.

Lower location of MagSafe ring means incorrect position related to Qi coil inside the phone.

Antother thing to note is the spen in the ultra is all wonkey in the middle of the screen when using a mag case :-(

It seems like people leaving comments don't realize that it's not up to the case manufacturer where to put the magnetic ring... the ring must go around the Qi receiver inside of the phone. The narrator describes the ring's position on the Speigen case as being better, but it should be in the exact same spot - what's better is the camera cutout, especially not having a raised edge.

Exactly, you can't put the ring lower because the magsafe chargers won't charge the phone if it's not in the correct spot.

No the Spigen case is no good i had to send my back explaining the Spigen ring is not positioned correctly. I'm not sure if samsung gave then the location to place the ring on the case but it is wrong. Spigen asked me for video evidence that the case connects displays charging BUT was discharge my device. Once I sent the evidence they gave me a full refund. The problem is ALL case manufacturers place the ring to High. Please watch a Galaxy s23 ultra teardown video and you will see the internal charge ring is much lower. The top of the ring is exactly half way down the power button. Best solution is to buy a case and place your own ring on the back exactly where the internal ring is and all works floorlessly.

@Brian Williams no, I bought an accessory to put my phone on my computer and comes with a magsafe charger and works perfectly, but I tried the magsafe from apple yesterday and works.
