Don't buy Pampered Chef...

Don't buy Pampered Chef from Amazon or eBay! Please always use an Independent consultant such as myself or from Pampered Chef directly. Why? Pampered Chef does NOT sell on Amazon or eBay so you are buying from a third party. You might see "free" shipping... but will pay more for the product than if you just purchased straight from PC or a consultant. Also, many of these third parties are using fake/stolen cards to make the order from PC. Your product will also not then be covered with the PC guarantee since there will be no record of your purchase. Also, please think of this... when buying pc from an unknown source on Amazon or eBay, you are taking away from me and other hard working consultant.

I've had many Pampered Chef parties and accumulated way too much stuff over the years, so I've actually sold a lot on eBay, and I am definitely NOT a scammer! There are lots of actual Consultants selling their extra products on eBay too, for a much better price than PC. So I say, if I can get a deal, I'll take it, because that stuff is way overpriced. The only thing that I would want the warranty for are the really big ticket items, and the knives, because I've always used PC knives, and they actually do rust, and they do break. I've had both happen. But for the little stuff, I think eBay or Amazon is fine if you can get a better deal. Do your research ppl, so that you're actually paying less. :)

Rainy Jo...I, too, am not a scammer. I have several pieces of Pampered Chef that I would like to sell on eBay. I read on eBay's VERO LIST of companies and The Pampered Chef is listed on there. Doesn't that mean we are not supposed to sell it on eBay? Would appreciate your thoughts? Thanks!!

I used to sell TPC. I’ve found many great products, and some NOT so great. The products are pricey and people are flakes when they “host” a show. Not to mention I had to pay income tax on all of my “free product”. I still use the products, but the only way I’ll buy new products is on eBay and Amazon.

The title is kinda click bait-y in my opinion. I was thinking this would be someone who is not a consultant or a former consultant who was disgruntled with the company. You could have said something like buyer beware, or something a little more clear.

Not completely true. I have found unopened pampered chef in a thrift store. Some people actually sell stuff they bought from pampered chef that they realized they are not going to use.

@@paulh6591 you might want to take a look at our catalog. We have a large variety of products. And all come with various number of years of a guarantee. I don’t the dollar store or Walmart offers that. 😉

@@CookingwithLouise I've got to agree that with a major purchase like the (well-made) Pampered Chef cooking blender I would certainly want that three year warranty just in case it fails. The Amazon sellers seem very evasive about whether the warranty will be honored. See,s to me that the Amazon seller is the original owner, and the warranty extends only to the original owner.

If i by it cheap enough on ebay. Who cares if it has a warranty, thats how i got alot of my pampered chef. Satisfied with every piece i got from ebay.

Christina Alderman: You are so right. She said "Don't buy Pampered Chef from Amazon or eBay!" That is ridiculous, who are these people telling people what to do, and where to do it? I have only bought a few of the PC products. But they are Pampered Chef and they are great. I buy (most anything) wherever I can get the best price. They choose to work for a MLM company. The consumer chooses to buy wherever they want. It is called "free will."

It comes with a 7 year guarantee so I think that’s pretty good.

@@CookingwithLouise so a friend of mine gave me the food chopper as a gift and I've used it a few times and noticed scratches at the inside bottom of the clear collar, clearly the blades are making contact somehow maybe they bend while chopping the food, I don't know. This can't be normal right? Not sure I want to keep using it if I'm going to get plastic in the food it chops. I contacted Pampered Chef and they it this product has a 5 year warranty, not 7 years. And they want my purchase information, which I don’t have because as I told them, it was a gift. So basically I have a food chopper that’s not covered under their warranty and will continue to cut plastic into my food.

Not a scam. It's FORMER consultants stuck with stock they want to unload. Same products, cheaper price, cutting out the middleman. Be honest.

@@CookingwithLouise Actually, Diana is right, most of the Pampered Chef items i have bought off eBay were from former consultants and i paid far lower than retail price. and for the record eBay does not allow drop shipping, if you dont have it in stock you risk loosing your account for placing items at auction you do not possess. if you drop ship from Amazon its an automatic strike. i just picked up a pair of the Professional Shears for $14.99 shipped. that's half what the website or a consultant sells them for. the only thing missing is the commission. the GUARANTEE isn't worth the price of the paper its printed on, every time i have sent something back i have purchased from the website, i was told it broke due to abuse and forced to pay return shipping or repurchase another replacement. i was once accused of using them for commercial purposes because i had them shipped to my business, a book store. which i might add has no kitchen.

Same thing happens with other MLM Products. Consultants may sign an agreement, but at the end of the day, they sell overstock to make a buck much cheaper. Isn't fair for the other Consultants. Maybe Pampered Chef should start a buy back program to eliminate this like Plexus Worldwide does.

Don't listen to the haters! They are always lurking! By the way, who in their right mind wants to "dump" their Pampered Chef products? I mean, the only reason I could think of is if life changing circumstances? My best friend has had her collection for over 20 years, and til this day it's her most prized kitchenware. She protects it like it's her baby. No way, no how would she ever part from it!

I'd rather pass up a consultant, buy on EBay for a whole lot less. Screw most life time warrantees! You're sales tactics remind me how the Nazi brown shirts conned people to their own deaths! To me how you use people to make high dollars on PC as a so called consultant end of the deal, is just alot of lip service, and fakery. You should be in politics..... "such as yourself"

just the other day, I had a customer contact me saying my name was on her packing slip as the consultant. She had ordered from E'bay. She wanted to return the item. I did my best, contacted home office. She was told since she purchased from a third party on Ebay she would have to go through that person to make the return. She couldn't get a hold of that person..... She said her shipping was free. BUT when I asked her how much she paid for the item, it was more than we sell it in our catalog. So her shipping was NOT actually free!! I explained to her to contact me for any future purchases.
