@knockout7611 Just because this is not your cup of tea, don't knock it. This is fun for people. A hobby that might make them a few dollars. My SIL makes a small fortune doing this. I gave her a few things and we would split the profit. All sold and delivered within a week. I got rid of some stuff and she made some good sales and we both had a little extra money. And I save the "free money." After a year, I see how much I have collected and go on vacation with it or buy myself something I have been wanting.

I saw a guy selling a nes and snes. He had a tv and power, to show that they all work. He wanted about $20 per game and about $50 for the more popular game. He had a deal for the console and the entire collection for about $200. I asked my parents. They said no. Wish my dad didnt sell our nes and collection. With today's prices, i could get about ¾ of the price per game as collection.

You got to remember some people buy things because they want them not to try to resell them. The resellers already ruined ebay.
@americanarbitrage4 ай бұрын
eBay wouldn’t exist without resellers…literally everyone selling…is reselling something ( unless they made it)
@shadycnetwork4 ай бұрын
@@americanarbitrage hold on let me explain. Previously most of eBay sales came from people selling things that they owned. Maybe they wanted to get rid of it and didn't really need money as much but eBay was the place you would go to get good deals. Now the resellers are just people who buy things from yard sales or online and they got it for cheaper and they're trying to make a huge markup. That's what I mean by reseller. Here perfect example, pawn Stars website is selling Chumlee autographed comic books for 25 bucks. Reasonable. Not a bad price. So I went to eBay just to see, there are people selling that same comic book with the pawn Stars COA that they send you far as much as $70. Off something they got for 25 bucks. That's what I mean. It used to be people selling things that they own that they just didn't want anymore they know they didn't really care they weren't trying to play get rich quick they just wanted to make a few bucks. I mean your whole video is literally about don't buy these things cuz they don't sell for as much. Maybe people want those things to have. I'm pretty sure some people still buy things for their personal use. Not everything's about selling and playing get rich quick. This is why I think that the resellers are horrible people. I would understand if you bought it for like 25 and you sold it for $30. I'm not against a slight markup. But people are buying things for cheap and sell them for crazy prices. I always tell people on my podcast, on my KZfaq channel. Before you buy something off of eBay Google see if you can find it for cheaper. Maybe if people stop buying from the resellers they would realize wait a minute maybe we shouldn't scam people let's make the mark up a little bit reasonable.

To rent a table at the flea market cost $20 (outside) he made an average of $300-$400 about every 2 weekends. One time he found a house that the people were throwing away 5 sets of snow skis, with boots and poles, some power tools and 2 tv wall mounts box never opened and a brand new stand mixer still in the box. He sold all ski equipment to one guy for $400, the rest just peice by piece but in 4 hours he had made almost $1000.

Um, as an Artist bear collector, I can tell you, if the bear doesn't have a tag it's likely handmade and possibly mohair or alpaca was used. That first bear you picked up I know was a keeper. Handmade teddy bears can almost always bring a profit. I would've snagged that first one for sure. Artist bears typically come with a paper hang tag that is written that disappears alot, but most bear artists have a style or something they do that is unique, so they can be easy to identify alot. I have over 100 artist bears and Charlie Bears- UK small handmade bear company which cost hundreds and go up in value yearly or shortly after launched. Don't sleep on collectibles yo, especially handmade bears.

At this point I avoid almost anything NASCAR like the plague even if I can get it really really cheap because it just does not sell except maybe Dale Earnhardt and Richard Petty stuff but even then I may sit on them for a while. If someone is buying the NASCAR's I recommend the Hot Wheels premium ones, those are more likely to sell than the racing champions.
