The Yamaha NS-10 was a HORRIBLY BAD Speaker. Recording engineers considered the NS-10 as a benchmark - It is like: if a song sounds good on NS-10, it will sound good everywhere. The NS-10 became a part of every major studio just to check how bad a record may sound.

First of all very fine content and knowledge you have and also like your bangali hindi accent 😁, Just wanaa know a weird thing, can we use Yamaha PSR S-950(or S750, S970, S770) workstation speakers for monitoring if you ever heard those keyboards sound, it sounds like HS5. Only problem that they are positioned fixed & flat. We cant increase there distance.

Aapki baat sahi hai, lekin sirji, budget nahi hai monitors ka, besides room treatment bhi karna padega...fir bahar se traffic ka noise aata hai... isiliye mera to Headphones par hi zaada bharosa hai...bas ek accha headphone ho jo aapko idea ho ki us headphones me accha mix sound kare to it'll sound good on most Headphones and speakers...

I did some research on studio monitors, and I found Mackie CR3X with it's 8" Sub perfect for me as it has slight punch in it's bass and I'm looking for this signature with details in lower frequencies of bass. Do u recommend Rokit over Mackie with it's sub? Primary use would be Music listening> Movies> Guitar/Keyboard. Also I'm thinking of pairing it with Focusrite Scarlett Solo or Presonous Studio 24C, any recommendations here too? would be building the setup slowly overtime, so budget is not an issue but somewhat in the ball park of 35-40K (can inc. it).

Mackie is certainly great. For 8" sub you'd require a big room and heavy treatment. For interfaces, Steinberg gives a clearer output than, say, M Audio. Focusrite is good too. Presonus do faces noise trouble, worth checking before settling for one.

Minifuse has this noise problem. You will find lots of complaints on online portals regarding this. However if it increases after putting charger that might be either an earthing issue of the socket or a laptop body issue. Check on someone else's laptop at some other place to verify.
