With me I use JB weld totally encapsulate the bottom half around all the pins use another junk female half to hold the pins straight till the j b sets up,about 24 hrs, spray the connection with silicone before plugging back in . I’d call that a permanent fix. Very good video and a very persistent tech and that’s rare to find nowadays, kudos man.

Same thing is happening to me 2009 Dodge Journey I bought a alternator and getting ready to replace it, my jumper pack starts it here and there, but it idls up high then I can see the colts go down on the batter pack and then all the lights come on then it dies. I’m hoping I can get this thing figured out seeing someone totaled my other car. I’m going to definitely check that pin tho! Sitting in harbor freight watching this video as we speak getting ready to make my next move. Kind of hoping it’s just the alternator at this point! Thanks for the video!

I have a problem with my Journey 2009. 2.7L V6 FlexFuel. 2023 May, first alternator went bad and after that battery. I replaced new alternator and battery. But now I've noticed that after 2 days of sitting (not using the car) the battery has drained, no power. I jumpstarted it and I checked charging voltage 14.6V. So alternator should be OK since it's brand new and charging. Also battery was few weeks ago warranty changed, so 2 new batteries cannot be bad. I noticed when voltage was low and it didn't start due low voltage, I couldn't use central locking button to open doors because too low voltage so I used key to open doors. So my car alarm tried to alarm and I heard many relays clicking because low voltage and couldn't use fob key, so I needed to jumpstart again to get antitheft OFF. Also I noticed when voltage was low and it didn't start, that right side tail blinker light was lit, very dim. So there is new alternator and new battery, and alternator charges very well. What might be the issue that if it stays still for 2 days, battery has gone low voltage and it won't start? My friend told me that in his Voyager was same problem and cause for that was bad Main Relay. Can it be the same in my case? Because when antitheft went ON and car alarm too because I opened the door with key and not with key fob, those relays started to click click click due too low voltage? Thank you for your help.

2010 grand caravan with this P0622 code no engine light. And P0562. All accessories work jumps no problem but without a jump i get a no click with fob.

Now I am getting these codes I never had before P0073 ambient air temp sensor high input, P0934 hydraulic pressure sensor circuit low input, C212A-17 system voltage/circuit voltage above threshold, C2101-17 battery voltage high circuit voltage above threshold. Wish I could bring my car to you. 🙏

My battery light keeps coming on and off. Been happening for a few months. I go to auto zone they tell me battery is dead. $250 Yet the car starts without jumps all electrical in the car starts up just fine its just the light. Take it to O'Reilly nothings wrong when your battery while sitting figuring out what to do battery light goes off. Coyle weeks later or we noticed especially after it rains here come the light. Sometimes it stays on for a few minutes, few hours few days but then just goes away. Mechanic couldnt find anything everything checked out alright and he reset the computer...the light went off. Since then drove it to another state different cities same thing nothing for a while then come on and scares the crap out of us. So idk what to do. Dont want to end up on the side of the road . Help pls🙏🏾

I just replaced the alternator and battery in a 2010. Now the dash lights won't come on, the brake pedal won't depress, it won't go into neutral. Nothing.
