It would be nice if Simon asked a question and listened to the answer rather than asking it and answering it himself with his own opinion. He’ll never be as good as he could be if he keeps wanting his opinion to be the loudest.

You need to respect the fact Tony is a genuine standup guy. Any issues hel ask, even when Simon is here to ask difficult questions if he doesn’t understand a word hel ask what it means aswell as the fact Simon will happily explain if needed. Both were fantastic to listen to, to the point no bullshit. Glad I just came across this channel

Exactly what a sports journalist should be, asks direct questions and won't accept round about answers. Felt like this one with bellew could and should have went on for a bit longer tho it felt like it was cut short.

Always thought that Tony was an aggressive individual, but watching this interview has made me realise that he's a very passionate and openly honest individual in regards to himself and the sport we all love. Really enjoyed seeing this side of Simon, much more relaxed and knows he’s in the company of someone great. He clearly respects Tony and he seems more real. His podcast with Spencer is entertaining but Simon doesn’t show him the same respect as he shows Tony. This is a much easier watch. Looking forward to more.

I agree! It’s tough to watch the show with Spencer as he is almost bully’s and prods at Spencer until he gives an answer that aligns with his opinion. Spencer then just picks the path of least resistance and answers to simons liking so Simon doesn’t interrogate his answer.

I’m a father I genuinely understand what use was talking about I’m from Manchester and I think the problem with this generation is parents don’t know how to discipline their children because when I was a kid my mum used to give me a slap and that’s what instilled it all into me

Only found this by chance, as i like to hear simon say it as it is, has foot and mouth disease sometimes which is good too.. Bellew can wind me up most times, but massive respect for his achievements. Talks from the heart and also talks shat at times, but i wish him well for his future. Very Good this Simon keep em coming

​@Comex he put himself forward for that BBC show last year, where the the panelists done nothing but take the piss of him. Not many would have done it, so you're way off the mark with that comment.

@@mg3554 Well that show, Have I Got News, has a new guest host every week, so yes many in the industry do do it and have done it. Dara O Briain, Ed Miliband, Boris Johnson, Alexander Armstrong, Jeremy Clarkson, amongst many others have all done it. The guest host always get the piss taken out of him/her, so Neville isnt special for his appearance.

@@H428 I think it's pretty controvserial that as a supposed leftist, he had no problem taking a job as a BEIN sports panelist (BEIN being part of Qatar state broadcaster). Apart from the documentary he did in 2019, which I thought was very soft, he had nothing to say about the workers rights and human rights abuses of migrants in Qatar. He wouldnt have taken the job if he had some integrity.
