I watched his first inning against Zimbabwe, where he hit 5-6 fours by cover drive. Since then I loved this guy. He had the potential to be one of the greatest openers. It was a heartbreak with whatever happened in England. We lost him ,Asif and Aamir, basically.

Salman Butt was actually a very decent batsman. He was someone who made the Pak batting feel safe after Inzamam stopped playing. That one scandal ruined it all for Pak batting for a very long time

He was my favourite Pakistani batsman in 2007-10 , his shots were treat to watch, he performed very well against india & most importantly his cricketing knowledge, speaking skills are just amazing than many players of Pak .
