Actually pretty good advice on talking to the locals. Last time I was in Copenhagen I wasn't impressed because people were cold. This time I'm going outside of Copenhagen. I'll try to talk to people. Hope they're right that locals do warm up! And great advice on the weather.

breaded fish with Danish remoulade sauce and boiled potatoes is fire. it is common at lunch restaurants in Sweden where i live

It's not bad but it's just somewhat overrated I think. It's very touristy so the restaurants, cafes etc. are a bit tourist-trap-ish and too expensive. There's no problem checking it out, take photos etc. but it's very touristy and expensive because of that.

The Danes evolved past the need for overly dramatic vowel sounds. That's why they speak Danish, not Norwegian. 😅
