Welcome back to the Scrap Mechanic Challenge Mode! Today we are back in the Ball Balancing Challenge making level 6. This time we are adding ball drops into the course design. You have to use proper timing to drop the ball down onto rotating rails without missing!

I love this series but I think you have been recently thinking about these challenges in a top to bottom fashion. In the first videos they were just start to finish. Maybe try having the ball spawner at the bottom and you have to work your way to the top. Another idea is to have the ball socket stationary and the ball has to move through a maze to get to the outside and then to the finish.

I Have an idea If you put sensors in the area the ball could be, when you cheese it, then have these sensors activate a spud gun which shoots the cardboard block that the entire puzzle is built upon So if you cheese it by dropping the ball , THEN YOU DROP THE WHOLE LVL FOOL Like if you support the idea

17:53 2 reasons why its cheeseproof: 1) the top and bottom rotating sections are synchronized and are the same length, therefor basic physics(of any kind) dont allow the ball to jump from the start to basicly the finishline in 1 go... 2) if the bars were either offset from eachother by abit or of varying lengths that wouldnt technically be cheesing as doing that type of maneuver would take rediculous amounts of skill and luck(to an extent)... either way, how about you change things up abit and add more problematic complications for the next round? perhaps another axis to spin the entire course on?

My Level Suggestion: This is hard to explain but I’ll give it a go... I call it THE JUMP or THE CATAPULT to give you an idea. Have the ball balanced on one of your beams & give it 360 degree control & have the goal way off to the right somewhere. The normal idea to get to the goal would be to tilt it so the ball travels left then tilt it right so the ball travels down & then tilt it left again so it jumps off the end, BUT to make this harder.. have the goal further so that doesn’t work & you have to actually get the ball vertical off the beam first by the tilting method & then for it to come back down the beam and flick it at the end for more distance or even make the beam so fast it can be hit or swung forward like a catapult.. Makes sense in my head but I hope this gives you an idea.

8:58 You should make a level with parts moving separately. Like one part of the challange is moving with 2 buttons and another part moving with another 2 buttons, making it harder. 😃

Ideas for next time: Make multiple axis like the wooden labyrinth Make a track that widens from the other track so the ball falls trough Make a track that moves from one place to another like up, down, left, right and combinations of them Make the ball jump over a jump to finish👍👍

You can cheese it. When you go for the first drop onto the first spinning rail, you can just go through when it's sideways and drop down to the last section.

You know those old school marble mazes? That tipped on 2 axis, and you had to get a ball from one end to the finish through a giant maze. But the maze had holes in certain spots where the ball would fall through and youd fail.... do that lol

Just an idea - if you have ball launchers on the end of each course you can launch the ball from one course to the other. Then you can have multiple courses in one map.

The cheese for that last one may be going from the top solid section to the bottom rotating section just as it realigns with the goal. It's a narrow window but maybe?

I think if you are an American it's " troubleshooteralized". Anyway please make a Pinball machine with points counter etc. kAN can help with logic. It need's lights and sound effects. Multiple piston bumpers and rails just like the real thing.

Here’s a simple yet genius idea for your challenge! You should make a level where the player would have to manoeuvre the ball throughout a maze to it’s socket. To add to that you could make multiple ball spawners, for example once the red ball is in its socket a blue ball would spawn and you would need to get it to the other side of the maze. What are your thoughts on the idea?

you should make a course where there are 2 sears that control tilt and pitch and you have to use the pitch seat

You should put a section that rotates at a 90% angle so you have to stop in the middle and it would work possibly with the z axis

Make a challange where you have to make the ball stay on a section that turns clock/ counter clock wise to get to the next part, like half the course upwards then staying ot that section u use the thrusters to stay on it as it rotates to go on the half that is upside down. should be hard enough with thrusters high enough to follow the rotation and being able to control so u can get it off at the right point.

I think there is still a way to cheese from first spinning platform to last spinning platform after u do the first and reach the still platform u can jump from there when the first spinning platform is side ways u can junp to the last platform with it cuz u said they r in sync check in next vid
