@Varbindulga exactly. Had a sableye twice in a row today that that's litterally all he did was score. He wouldn't help farm, he would hide in bushes, and then just score all the time. He scored a lot but was completely useless the rest of the match. First game was a loss because the enemy sabeleye was actually useful and was taking us down with his allies. Second match was a win but not because of him. I hate sableye so damn much.

That’s because they’re not using him right. With X speed and shadow sneak you’re bound to get kited hard. I guess there are easy matchups though if no one helps him out.

This really exemplifies how to play Decidueye. At almost no point were you in range of the enemies, and if you were you were either at a huge HP advantage or surrounded by your team. Hard to hunt an owl they plays that well.

Coming from a decidueye main with 53% win rate over 1000+ games, I am running this exact same build since forever, before charm it was float stone. And as Chris said, I attack weight is just that extra, it does not have to be fully charged, even without stacks, with shadow sneak and spirit shackle you can literally take 70% of a speedster hp from range, I was legit dominating over a blue badged Absol from range in one of my games without even stacking, he tries to chase me by killing my mate, but sneak+spirit shackle gets him so low, he abandons the chase and dies to another. Its also true for any pokemon on which you are stacking, get as much as you can, but once you get high level, and especially when ahead, do not care about stacking.

I feel like this could also apply to the people saying that they stopped running xp share because they were sick of their teammates not understanding it. Honestly, maybe 1/4 of the games I play I encounter that, and even then it's still more help than it is a hindrance. I understand the feeling of "wasting a slot" but no need to put that much stock in an item. It's all good

Fwiw, theres been some owl usage in japan in tournaments that were running no attack weight at all, running cursed item instead(bangle is the phys one right?) And were doing their part still, so yeah, you really dont need those stacks to do owl things. If you can get them its really nice damage, but if you cant its not the end of the world at all

Decidueye is my main, if I see you see an opportunity to stack, in most scenarios, take it, but at the end of the day, Deci doesn’t really need an attack weight, it’s mainly there as insurance or as an investment

For attack weight I charge it by having 2 to 5 point maximum then you can goal quickly and I have float stone instead of charm, more attack (+24 I think).

I simply just traded it for a cursed bangle. Since I use spirit shackle I just figured I’d do the team a favor and ruin their healing. Worked enough to rank me up. 🤷🏾‍♂️

Attack weight stack if you got full stack will give you 2 level up ( attack only) But if you farm you can get like lvl 14... Or will you just be lvl 12 with 6 stack?

I like to go Owel bot lane actually. Get 2 stacks, die, come back and farm, get more stacks if the jungler comes to gank, but otherwise just get to 7 asap. I usually end up getting 6 stacks most matches

As a decidueye main , i dont stack at all, i use scope lens, sharp claw thing, and charge charm. This is for crit builds, as decidueyes crit rate us already high , it just makes your crits more frequent and stronger, and with charge charm it makes your deci's spirit shackle much stronger. I personally don't see the reason for stacking if you can out range any pokemon in the game, but if someone gives me a good explanation of why i might consider it

Have you looked at the numbers? 400%+ scaling is insane. Even a single stack goes a long way. It puts enemies in range of lot of KOs you'd miss without it. Not to mention how it makes other items all that more powerful, like Charm, Razor Claw, or Scope. Also, using Scope Lens in your build is useless, especially without Muscle Band, since the only reason to ever use Scope on Shackle is to rip faster.

If you’re going for a crit build you might as well just replace charging charm with muscle band and use razor leaf decidueye💀 Also spirit shackle has insane attack scaling so attack weight is a very good item for it

@@Arctorias No I don't ever choose razor leaf, razor leaf is the worst possible choice you can make playing decidueye, plus deci's spirit shackle is what out ranges everything, and yes I'm changing my builds today and swapping out scope lens

Lol Cris I managed to accumulate +31.5 Special Attack with these emblems: Golden Lugia, Moltres, Exeggutor, Delibird, Bellossom, Murkrow, Bulbasaur, Ivysaur, Venusaur and a Platinum Articuno. Try it.

I'd rather choose an item that gives a guaranteed consistent bonus rather than an item that has a risk/reward to it. So no stacking for me. I'd rather use a float stone to be able to position myself better.

@@Arctorias yeah but for example getting level 5 on machamp is more important than getting 3 stacks and dying. or look at that cinderace in this game, goes to score 8 points at 2:10 and gets killed right before ray. stacking and dying is worse than living and farming 80% of the time

Charm. You get a nice burst from it and you're constantly moving to charge it. Razor claw only gives you a boosted hit if you use a move and then hit with an auto after. If you're sniping properly, you won't be hitting enemies with autos super frequently.

Mostly the whole roster. If you die trying to stack, you’re just giving the enemies free exp and letting them snowball

@@StoneyHalf-DragonHero9102 Leafeon and Zoroark. Since they can escape easily after stacking. Leafeon especially because it can evolve after 2 stacks, which gives you extra invincibility frames to retreat. Zoroark is a bit harder to stack with but you should still be able to retreat. Likewise probably Crustle for the same reason as Leafeon. I think the biggest thing is trying not to die. If you get a stack and then die, it’s not likely the enemy lane will let you stack again, they’ll be expecting you to stack. The best thing in that scenario is to focus on farming because you just don’t want to give them free exp. Hope that makes sense

Why don’t you consider replacing attack weight with float stone? Deci can run quite fast and don’t have to risk its life over stacking haha

This is going to be a bit of a hot take, but... I've started just not stacking as Deci but running Cursed Bangle. Stacking can make you do a ton of damage, yes, but the risk of it not having use as an item slot in many games started to dissuade me from using it; Bangle gives me some attack and also lets me shut down many forms of healing from afar. I also run 4 brown 7 black with movespeed, which is a bit of a weirder build and makes me frail, but I get my snipes off CD a bit sooner and the extra movespeed lets me feel a little less bad about dropping a mobility item to take X-Attack. Is this likely the mathematical best way of playing Deci? Nah. But sometimes people have their own comfort picks for items/builds that they find work out better for them. I say this as someone who actually enjoys and thrives playing Barrier/Psychic Mime, for instance.

This video just showcases bad rayquaza plays. Why was the enemy cinderace solo pushing a goal score at 2:06? Slow bro by himself getting kited to death. I love you Chris but this is a unicorn game you uploaded where honestly you played subpar throughout the game and secured an east ray fight from an uncoordinated enemy team. Not much to learn here tbh.
