the problem isnt the jets being faster lmao, its just the economy thats bad. Unless you have a better solution too the issue we had with bombers dominating and ending matches in an extremly anoying way, the way they're balanced performance wise is fine

@@baseformrolf6710 bruh it’s absolute dog shit balancing. Shouldn’t make a plane or ground vehicle nearly impossible to cover the sl cost because it “ruins” the gameplay. If anything, they should just give fighters an altitude advantage to fix it and lower the sl repair cost. Or an option for players to give their fighter an altitude advantage.

@@Phantom-dm9fz or the most simple think is that you can only bomb bases like there 4 and they will come back after a time when killed so the bombers will have new stuff to bomb but it just cost a team like 100 or 200 tickets per base same time you can lower repair cost then cause they cant win the game on their own anymore and to prevent bombers going space you like they had or still have spawn trucks that the fighters can destroy to decrease enemy tickets and win on that way . In my eyes rly simple dont know how in like 2 years they didnt managed to fix that .

b29 was the grinding machine until 2017, gaijin nerfed bombers and the economy a lot. The repair for the b29 was a lot higher, i think 60k or something, but it was still worth the risk, because you could make 110k sl and still make it alive

Oh yea. Did that too with the Do-217 with 4x 1000kg Bombs alot. Those were good Times !

@@yummyzerg yep 18k now, it makes little compare to years ago but 18k is actually not bad for a b29. Me and my friend got 4 aircraft kills the other day, 3 people on the runway got bombed.

ME 264 is better in every way, has 20mm HEI cannons and can do about the same damage + lower BR so no jets

Throttle on full and climb will keep most fighters working hard for the kill. On most bombers you will have more gun mounts open for an angle to shoot when climbing. Even if they are getting closer don't stop climbing its not hard to push off a fighter if you are keeping an eye on your speed and climb. Unless you threw a typically dumb hail mary at the enemy team and entered too deep to escape and threw all strategy out the cockpit. Then you deserve to be shot down no complaints.

@@howitzer2839 nah, it was a no airfield map, only had carriers to land on, came in too hot on a second approach and slammed into the deck, exploding. I was impatient but had more than enough fuel

Wouldn't be as bad if bombers would stop hurling themselves forward without it. If bombers waited and paid attention to the map and look for lanes of opportunity opened up by their fighter pilots (gaps where no enemy are). They would be more successful. I always have waited and look for bomb lanes that are open, lacking enemy to protect and go there. Lose a lot less bombers. Bombers who look for open lanes live longer than bombers that hurl themselves at the enemy at 7k km asking for a spitfire or something to eat their wings up. Then blame no fighter escort or assistance. Wouldn't be as bad if bombers could actually get on board with some strategy eh?

@@Cameron_the_Robot must be bad luck for me cause I never have an opportunity/ opening like that. When I see a area clear of fighters, I go there but then some fighter notices me and with in a matter of seconds I have 2-4 fighters trying to kill me. I'm normally at an altitude of 18-20k ft before I start a bombing run.

@@jacobmarley285 bombing does nothing when teams finish eachother off first which is the most usual case. In teams with 4 bombers and two strike planes ground pounding, you end up with an un even number of fighters and the team with more fighters wins

@@bennogaming4761 Yeah I can make like 20K SL Per match with a 4.7 Ground lineup, Mind you. ON ARCADE with NO PREMIUMS nor any boosters. And only have 50-500 SL Repair cost per vehicle.

@@Shadow_0-7 Just normal shermans up to 4.7 and the 75MM Halftrack from what I recall. They all have like 500 or less SL Repair costs and have decent reward rates. Plus the shells are half decent and it's 4.7 so they can reliably pen.

At 6.0 it becomes more worrying for the other planes. It it climbs too high then it's a problem. But if it doesn't then it dies easily to things like La-9s. If it faces mixed matches then these F-7Fs can rake it from afar. Sure it might decide the match at 6.3-6.7 but experienced pilots will always beat it without much issues if it doesn't climb. (Unless you are facing it with Yak-3U)

Jets usually doesnt climb. 7.0 is good for b29 but 7.3 is nerfed

If they have the position advantage over you, any experienced pilot can get a decent few shots at you while these fairly rough to aim defense guns will only "hit" the target. It probably takes 10 minutes to get from 0 to 5000 meters so with payload it's safe to assume it takes much longer (with heavy payload you can't get higher than 7000-8000 in theory.) The Ju-288C is more ideal as it can actually retain energy and manuever, especially against Soviet fighters (except the I-225 which gets turbocharged effectively up to 10000 meters if I'm not mistaken but still sucks at turning)

If you just fly in enemy lines and don't die in sim you can make bank, avoid dogfights and only go for opportunity kills and shooting down spy planes on ur side. Grind out like the whole ass italian tech tree in one match lmao.
