Black bears are usually not aggressive except for the aggressive ones lol. Id rather come in contact with a black over a polar or grzz

Black bears can be more dangerous than a grizzly due to them being very unpredictable

Believe it or not making it aware of your presence in a gentle way can help so that you make it aware of you without threatening it

Wasn't the bear already aware of her. I was thinking if she talks nice to the bear it might hop up to take a look at the items she had. I always carry a few snacks yikes.
