I used to go outside a lottt, just walk around ya know. I found this lake and would stay there all the time, I later realized that there was a small dirt path that led to a beAUTIFUL wooden area with creeks and rocks and fallen trees.. It was so relaxing, I would go there like everyday. But then they drained the lake.. And they're doing construction inside the creek. I'm dying

I travel quite a bit too. I have been to almost all of the states and every summer I go to another one. It's really fun going out and seeing the world, experiencing different cultures. I have learned far more about the world traveling then I have in school.

When she finally gets her license we should be able to have more freedom, and when that day comes my sister and I have essentially promised ourselves that we would be doing A LOT more things. We've been cooped up in our house for FAR too long due to strict parents.

This weekend im going to the bathroom and back to my room.

It took me over 3 years to convince my parents to let me get the bus home after school after that I wanted to go out and do stuff but my parents are always worried about my safety. I got why they were so worried but I'm always careful where I go and things I do. So 2 years after that I convinced my parents to let me go trick or treating with my friends. That was 5 years ago and my parents are still worried but I go where I want now and explore amazing things because I showed I can be responsible. And this video really spoke to me because if I didn't show that responsibility I would have never gone and found places like what you have and I never would have seen nature at it's fullest! so thanks Kyle I love you so much! :)

I went to the forest a couple weeks ago. It was beautiful and it changed my life. I would sit in one of the fallen trees and just sit there and think or read or walk around the forest. It was like, when I was out there, none of my problems existed, my mind just cleared and I didn't have to think about school. It was amazing and I want everybody to experience something that great.

I live in suburbia so there's not really anywhere i can go where there aren't houses

Every weekend to get my mind off of school i walk down to a little unmarked beach in my area called "cheese point" and follow the train tracks as far as i can before it gets dark. Seeing as i live in a rural village in Western Canada, there's so many cool areas outdoors i can check out, from the local hill, Mouse Mountain that got its name from its rodent like shape and the lake that my hometown was named after to the worlds shortest river, known for being the white swan capital of the world and the nearby waterfalls and dams. Even though i've been seeing these things my whole life, i've never quite gotten over the beauty of it all. It's almost upsetting how many people really don't grasp the concept of how rewarding it is to get away for a bit, even if the place can be seen from your front yard. Getting out of the house and just thinking is definitely worth it.

there are three train tracks near my house and i like to take pictures there and admire my surroundings.. there's also a gas station near by where i walk to, to get some snacks and there's a hidden park within my neighborhood that not a lot of people go to/ know about. too bad my parents don't trust me out of the house alone.. When I was 18 I took a gap year before going to uni and I traveled around the world. I liked the freedom and I had so much time to think about life and who I am and why I wasn't happy with myself. But being alone on the other side of the world for a couple of months made me also realize that I felt very lonely for the last couple of years. After I came back home I came out as transgender and I finally started to except myself but most importantly, I also became a lot more confident, what made me talk more with people around me. I still love traveling and I try to away every summer but now I also like it to come back home.
