Also I think this would be a great idea for Christmas cards the gate fold card, I especially love the way it shows both sides of the paper so much gets unseen if you don’t do that

All you have to do is have a large value gift card! They won’t notice the ink marker bleeding though! Lol love it!

Great video Connie….and fun cards! I do enjoy making this fold when I am in a hurry but love your tip about folding the corner instead of cutting. Really love the way you used the scraps to make a gift card pocket. I can definitely see me playing around with both of these ideas in the future

I love these cards. I love the pattern and color combo on the card that’s for your BFF. That goat and sentiment cracks me up. I made this same gatefold for my brothers birthday back in June and he loved it.

Thank you! I didn't have any double sided 12x12 paper so I put 2 sheets together. I have 2 Christmas cards in addressed envelopes now. They are written out and completely done

Just a quick tip … when folding on the score lines, make sure that you fold on the “inside” of the 4” score lines (so that the fold is closest to the center of the card. For some reason my folds ended up on the “outsides” of the score lines which resulted in a ⅛” gap where the gate folds meet in the middle. The cards are still cute but not quite right.

Really fun cards Connie. I love how easy these are to make, but looking at them you'd think they were super complicated!! Beautiful papers help too, and these are exceptional!! Love it, and thanks!!
