How I grew up and how I followed through my parenting methods. My son, nephews, and niece all get three gifts each. 1. What they need or will need. 2. A toy or item they want. 3. What the gifter thinks will benefit the giftee. My grandparents started this trend in my family because they saw how Christ brith the 3 Wiseman's gave him three gifts only. Plus they were not wealthy but wanted to make sure my father had Christmas. It helped them get through a rough point in life so they continued it from there and now it our main traditions. Oh and another thing only children gets gifts, adults usually get a greeting card with a 5 dollar money donation to a savings account that was already made for them at birth. Hopefully this idea may help others. Thank you for reading.

We have a Christmas Club through our credit union. It can’t be taken out until October. We have been doing this for over 20 years 😊

We are doing an adventure box this year. So part of their Christmas will be given out throughout the year as things to do. Going to see Lion King, going to an amusement park, zoo, stuff like that.

I save up every check starting right after Christmas so I can cash flow it come that time the following year. No unnecessary debt this way.
