@@jorickjoetoep You just can't feel it, because all the cells in your body are accelerating at the same rate, so your organs/senses don't have a way to measure the difference. You can feel the change from having a floor beneath you on the balloon to going into free fall, but not mid free fall (maybe a tiny bit because air resistance, definitely once the parachute is deployed)

Cool thing about balloon flying is that even if there is wind you don't feel or hear it because you're moving along at the same speed.
