Artist and writer Morgan Harper Nichols and Sadie take an in-depth look at navigating painful seasons, connecting with people by sharing our insecurities and uncertainty, and finding our way to true peace in the wilderness. Morgan shares how an autism diagnosis helped her explore what it means to be worthy of peace. They also explore how to find community, develop confidence, and give yourself permission to slow down and wait for God's timing. Morgan's new book, “Peace Is a Practice,” is available now!

ABOUT SADIE ROBERTSON:
Sadie Robertson, first introduced to the world as a star of A&E’s Duck Dynasty and ABC’s Dancing with the Stars, recognized she could be a positive voice to those in need of an inspiring presence in their lives. At the age of 24, she’s become one of the most prominent voices of her generation. Sadie’s passion is to speak, to write, and to encourage. She is a sister and friend to more than five million followers on her various social platforms, which she sees as a direct line of communication to her peers.
Sadie’s creative and entrepreneurial spirit has helped her become a 'New York Times Best Selling Author', and launch her Live Original brand, which speaks to millions across her various platforms, including KZfaq, social media, the Live Original blog, LO Fam Community, the Live Original tour, and her Whoa That’s Good podcast.
Additionally, Robertson has long poured her heart into philanthropic efforts. She has loved partnering with Roma Boots, Help One Now, World Vision, and the World Food Program over the last few years. To date, Robertson has been able to be a voice and agent of change in many countries, including Peru, Somalia, Moldova, and the Dominican Republic.

The part that stuck out to me the most was when she talked about giving herself time to enjoy and appreciate for herself first what God has spoken to her about… I know God wants me to be a leader and share my (His) wisdom with others and whenever He shows me something new I get so excited I just want to share it right away but I have learned that he first wants me to enjoy it and learn from it and then be able to give a story because most of the time he has a bigger story and just gives me pieces at a time… just training myself to have time between receiving it myself and sharing, that just clarified that for me thank you guys, Love you!!

This message has inspired me to just trust God in the process of creativity. I am so hard on myself, and the worst critique. But we need to put ourselves aside and trust the lord and He will lead us to our destiny.

Thank you, Morgan, for sharing! I resonate with your story so much. I too have Autism, (albeit undiagnosed). I was 37 when I realized I have ASD. What you shared about "And it's not your fault" brought me to tears. I've struggled all my life with things and I never knew why. Now I do. Not many understand the struggles of having ASD and it's frustrating for sure. And also on community. Girl, being a still single 37 year old with no kids..it's freakin' hard to find community because I don't relate to most my age. We're in two totally places in life. They are all about spouses and kids and I'm over here still trying to figure everything out. It's so tough. Thank you for sharing your story, Morgan! You are a true inspiration!

I loved that! Such a great conversation especially at the end when she said you have to seek out the river in the midst of the wilderness. Like we can be going through painful things but when we seek out Jesus we have peace. It doesn't meant the bad goes away, but that the river or Jesus or peace is there!

It's a great sharing. I hope Sadie can invite more Christian artists ( visual arts) or fashion field entrepreneur to talk about their faith and how they apply faith in their workplace. Or use their God given gift to influence people.

Wow what a great interview. I really enjoyed hearing her speak on peace and that it was pressure that she put on. Being able to breathe deep without knowing all the answers.
