Hi I’ve lived with locs and very strait hair most of my life , done them three times using different methods. Lesson learned that was a god send for strait hair bicarbonate of soda! long soak hair then clean out before you begin, your hair will feel dry and like straw as it will strip grease but it’s not ph unfriendly to your hair. Your hair will hold four maybe five times better while they form, this is also really good for people who get greasy hair fast or often I still do a deep clean every so often with this , just don’t go nuts a little is a lot. Rip and twist or crochet is a winner for straight hair I’m currently on my third journey, I’ve done twist & rip and neglect between when I’ve decided to tidy up. My aim was to have my hair simple, I don’t need a comb it’s just my hands and I can do them while I’m fishing if I feel like it Shocking these ones to me look to be the nicest form, they cost me 0£ in product since I have bicarbonate of soda at home

Crochet to the root then let it grow out to get that look. That’s how I do mine

All of His products in his bio are perfect for locs but me personally I used rosé water and oil and that’s it 🤣🤷🏾‍♂️ but you should’ve stayed in the city

In my opinion, I don’t rlly think straight hair dreads look good, it kinda look nasty, weird, and unnatural. You should prob only get dreads if your hair type is from 3b-4c. But you don’t have to listen to me, if you think it looks good go for it.

Whether it’s gon suit u depends on your face and features If you look like Tom hanks best believe youll look goofy There’s a variety of good hairstyles for non curly/kinky hair that u can get And believe me locks are a huge commitment And with 2c hair best believe your shit won’t look any good until 6 months But you never know Jason Momoa probably had the best locs with straight/wavy hair and his were fire af Point is If you’re not sure you’ll stick with the journey you’re wasting your time The only real way to see if locs will look good on you is if u fuck around and find out And btw Call em locks The lock community gon be on your ass

2 strand twist my boy itll take 3 months. im mixed so i got 3b but ive been locd for 3 years now. also when you wash make sure its twisted up because our hair will unravel easily when wet if we not fully locd and itll regress your progress by a lot. make sure to moisturize but i recently found it better to mist your hair instead of rubbing the oil directly into the scalp which will pull hair out of the locs and give it lots of frizz.

Apple cider vinegar wash would’ve took care of that
