Injury can effect you in many ways including decreasing your strength, muscle memory, timing, and endurance to name a few.
One big thing that I see is a disconnect between the mind and body.
Your mind tells you that you are back and you can go 100%, but your body is not exactly quite at that point and not conditioned quite yet.
Setting tangible goals, sticking to the goals, regaining that timing and mind-body connection is extremely important.
In the return from injury, listen to your body, adjust accordingly, and make a gradual transition to return to 100% and prevent re-injury.
