So ive been playing this game for a week as of Friday the official release date and its actually very fun alot of grinding pvp if that's your thing the cutscenes get annoying sometimes but it really doesn't ruin the game its still fun and the ship battles will never get old

I hope it is more ships and not ship skins as 10 ships feels be tight but is ok for now while leveling up.

God I wish I could be excited about this game, I pre ordered it with the first wave when it was initially put to sale and I was so fucking excited. And now, im still holding out for the next great pirate game.

This is the first game I've been able to catch from the 1st stages. I played the beta. And the early access. So far, it's been a great time. And I'm very excited to see all the new things coming with each season.

Personally I’m playing the trial, and really enjoying it. Sure it’s no true pirate game, but it does offer something quite different. Personally I enjoy this more than sea of thieves.

But to me the 2018 version of the game looks so good why they changed that engine

For what I did get to play in the beta I had fun. I really wish that they fixed this game before it releases, but as it is I couldn't possibly play $70 for a game that crashed every 5 minutes and made me wonder if it was going to break my Xbox with how many times it hard crashed and needed to be unplugged to restart

The funny thing with the po8 nerf. I think like many as well as me. I really enjoyed this game. I put many hours into it.. then i hit end game and i was disappointed.. not that it was a bad game but I had so much fun with it i was sad to see it end. then the po8 nerf come and then it gave me a reason to complain and say BAD ubi BAD! but it mostly because i know i hit the end. Looking forward to new content etc. Kind of interested in this whole fleet thing. I hate I have to wait a month/2 to see it... I wish they fleshed out a better end game grind to give us something to do while we wait for more content. that is something i can blame ubi for. The current end game is stale and has no meaning. I hope they add something to give us to do.

It’s repetitive already and not much difference in loot. For 10 years is MEH but I still love the game and will still continue to play. Just hate that the other kuraharibu is from the jaws of retribution bounty yet it’s no one to be found and I heard that monster isn’t even coming out until the 26th. I can’t get my scales until then to make my armor hull…😢

I bought the deluxe edition bcs of 1 year content mainly and to me im liking the game there are alot of things you can do why im not loving the game is no i mean NO; actual pirate fights on ship or off ship just cutscenes this to me is very disappointing i love a good pirate game but this was not it i will stay enjoy what i pay for but Ubsoft you had 10years of delays this is final production? No need to glaze this game, calling it "AAAA" level of a game is a joke and a lie. Basic pirate level activities is not there, just a hp reduction simulator with a cutscene to top it all of. So many years in the working and they come up with this? 70 Dollar AAAA my @ss

THE GAME WILL NOT LAST THREE MONTHS The game is extremely limiting, you are not able to land on a lot of the islands, no personal weapons, on board scene cuts for attacking ships. Graphics are good, the ship combat is great, and crew animations are good. Good game concept but like i have said, see a nice island for some treasure hunting not a chance, you cannot land on it. To get wood etc you have to play a mini game. my thoughts with the current game play the game will not last three months as live service. it needs new mechanics added such as personal combat and the open world to be truly open, meaning you can land on any island. The resources game mechanics need to be dumped, even the islands you land on they are lacking in a lot of stuff. So nope the game will not last long in it current state.

Saying “this game has been in development for 13 years so it will be chalk full of content” is a flat out lie. More like it’s been in development hell and Ubisoft is completely incompetent. Instead of doing what they’re good at, they made a live service multiplayer game to try and milk the audience that loved black flag, and it only became that 5-6 years ago. This is not a pirate game, it’s world of warships reskinned.

Nah, its not going to have "so much to do" and "10 years worth". Not at all. We already know that the game got scrapped and rebooted like 3 times. It only has a few years of real development on this version and we saw most of what the game had to offer in terms of content variety during the first beta (and tons of alpha testing which further showed that its actually kinda limited right now). Dont get me wrong im excited and pre ordered. But people are overhyping this. Its an outdated but fun pirate game with a medium amount of content.

I’m liking the game but how did they spend 10 years on it and it’s still not as complete as the side game they based it off of in AC black flag? Instead have to wait months for them to be patched in and by that time the game will be outright dead with the remake of what it came from being released and it will be a complete game given it’s not live action

sorry but this game feels so arcade and theres so much annoying grind to just strech the gameplay its not in 100 years worth 70€ (palworld and helldivers sitting here with 40€). i felt like my sailship has a little engine in the back because wind doesnt matter and cannons follow my cursor (no broadside like in blackflag or any other naval battle game) like a turret of a battleship. its a downgrade world of warships.
