Welcome to Mindo, Ecuador! Mindo is a small town located in the Andean foothills of Ecuador, approximately 80 kilometers northwest of Quito, the country's capital. It is known for its lush cloud forests, abundant wildlife, and adventure activities, such as zip-lining, tubing, and hiking. While Mindo is close enough for a day trip, we highly recommend spending a few days exploring the area. In this video, we are giving you our first impressions of the magical cloud forest and the beautiful lodge that we stayed at. OMG, me and my family stayed at this beautiful resort in December 2023, it brings back wonderful memories! And we did the cable car, Yumbos Chocolate tasting, feeding the hummingbird etc…. And yes we thoroughly enjoyed the food there including the Trigillo.

Very impressive! I loved everything about it. The photo shots of the birds, the over head views of the water falls, the chair lifts over the cloud forest. The audio was super pleasant with the entire production. Very, very impressive!

I arrived in mindo yesterday. It is an amazing bus ride all the way here. It is the first place that I have visited that makes me feel like I’m in the film Jurassic park minus the angry T-Rex 🦖

I feel you pain with heights. I am afraid to the point I would label it a phobia. With that said, Mindo is one of the places I want to visit most in the world and I know I too will have to brave the lifts to get the most out of that future trip.
