Appreciate the extra work to figure out the refund policy and catches if you decide to change your mind with the promotion. Normally I like being monthly in case I want to switch but I’m already on this plan and the idea of saving some extra money is tempting. Sent to family as well in case they want to switch. If she is considered a new customer, I’d suggest looking into the regular promo with the 50 day trial and the $50 gift card at the end of the first 12 months. It’s a better deal for new customers than the cyber week deal since it includes the same $50 off a year of service with the prepaid debit card + it includes a $42 value in the 50 day free trial. The cyber Monday deal really only shines for existing customers.

Did you see the new US Mobile Plans? It was was introduced this week. Annual plans now and more expensive for monthly. Light plan now has 1Gb (versus 500Mb) with unlimited talk/text for $6/mo but you have to prepay that annual purchase up front for $72! That sounds like a steal for sure!

Thanks, I did not realize that the data was limited to 30 GB at priority level. The ad just says unlimited data. I had signed up for the plan and called and switched it to a different phone that uses less data. They were very receptive to making this change for me.

According to comments from official reps on their Reddit, it seems likely that you’d lose the promo but it hasn’t been set in stone yet. Some have said yes but some have left it open for possibility.

The data is only deprioritized on the 25 plan of visible. Also you fail to mention that the 5MB hotspot is totally unlimited.

I’d read the fine print on your card benefit. Most cards with phone coverage don’t cover prepaid plans.

They already give 50 days free which is 13.6% but this is a bit more.

Don’t forget, for new customers that will be eligible for the 50 day trial, they will also get a $50 gift card at the end of their first 12 months. Since the promotions don’t stack, the cyber Monday deal actually isn’t as good for new customer and only really shines for existing customers New customers should go for the 50 day trial (that’s worth just under $42 at the $25/mo pricing) and the $50 gift card. It also doesn’t require the lump sum payment up front, if that’s something that they’d prefer.

That’s what I was thinking to do. Just use the 50 days free and the gift card. I wanted this plan for $250 but after doing the math it makes more sense to do the free 50 days
