British Airways also has students offers. I think its 10% off, not sure. And booking the tickets as a student, you will be allowed to check-in 2 23 kg bags...

Yes they started students offers from 30 September 2020 till 30 November 2020. They give 2 x 23 kgs of luggage (totally) and 10% discount

Hi, Below is the updated luggage allowance for British Airways. 1 handbag/laptop bag, plus 1 additional cabin bag 2 bags at 23kg (51lbs) Update: I had a word with BA customer care guys and as per my booking I can carry cabin bag (55x45x25)cm upto 23 kg and hand bag(40x30x15)cm upto 23 kg...2 checkin bags of 23kg each. Considering the dimensions of hand bag and cabin bag...one can’t put 23kg stuff in them...I assume...

You can bring oil upto 3L. But you cannot carry any diary products like ghee.

Hi did you book through air India website or any third party website? www.airindia.in/travel-to-and-from-europe-uk-israel.htm Bcoz as per air India baggage allowance it 2 x 23 kgs and they have student baggage allowance also. So you can carry 3 x 23 kgs. I have enquired with people who travelled recently.

“Hey everyone, reached UK. I came through Air India from Chennai to London via Delhi. Both the flights were on time. No food in the chennai to Delhi flight. Packed food on the Delhi to london flight. In flight entertainment worked but you'll have to carry your own earphones to use it. Just have to fill the UK passenger health form 48 hours before leaving. No Covid test required. Air India also allowed me to carry 3 pieces of check in luggage ( 3 x 23Kgs each) and a hand baggage of 7Kgs (you have to mention that you are a student). Would definitely recommend Air India as they were the only one allowing so much luggage for 37K. Hope this helps. Cheers.” This is the feedback I got from one of the air India traveller

You can take them but sometimes the customs may ask you to open and enquire about it. Then u have to explain that it is not a normal seed to grow plant and it can’t sprout. It is an edible only for eating purpose

Bro, that was a nice video! I will be moving from Chennai to London via British Airways next week. I will be carrying over cooking items (like podis, pulikaachal paste, vathakuzhambu paste, takalli tokku, masalas, spices and some ready-to-cook chappatis, etc.). Would these items come in cabin baggage or checked baggage?

As of now Air vistara, British airways, Spice jet, Air France are confirmed flights. Some say klm and Lufthansa are flying but I’m not sure of that.

Hi Ankit, Luton Airport is the closest one. But if I don’t know which flights are going there now. May be Air France or klm or Lufthansa. But if you go to heathrow airport then you can take the underground tube to London kings cross and then take Thameslink train to Hatfield.

If it is within the dimensions of the cabin baggage size u can take it in hand baggage. If not then it has to be kept in checkin baggage with proper packing and get fragile tag from the airline.
