80 messages in 3 hours seems overly restrictive for Plus. I'd like to hope that was just for the initial "boom" stage and will be relaxed more when things settle down.

What even is the point? i can only send 2-3 images (rarely) just before it restricting my access to the feature. Then, i have to wait for HOURS to be able to send another message or image. What even is the point?

To get you addicted to the quality of GPT 4 and get plus, and it honestly works, it is a million times smarter and the 3.5 is heavily fucking outdated.

Well you would have to assume OpenAI know what they are doing right? I mean the average IQ in there is 135, so its not like they are stupid or something. I think they are crap at supplying a consumer service and its not useful for anything but marketing to be honest. They make MOST of their money from developers using the API anyway, consumers make up a relatively small part of their income and are clearly causing problems. It'd likely be better for all if they just shut down ChatGPT and used a B2B model only.

I have decided to keep Chat GPT Plus. As a heavy user of Chat GPT the higher usage limits and especially the GPT 4 Store which is what I use the most(I create my own GPTs so...) is still only available with GPT Plus. Also the early access to new features is nice.

It does include the GPT's. My co-worker was using them today... I am wondering why I'm paying 20 a month when 95% of what I use it for is used for free.. Mistake on OpenAI in my opinion

I am facing a problem in chatgpt android app, the headphone shaped voice feature disappeared yesterday from the chatgpt app, and I have uninstall and reinstalled it several times but it's still not available. Please someone help 😢

@@harapriyarath1361 I'm on the Plus plan so may be they're prioritizing plus members first. If you are too then I'm not sure what's going on with yours. I tested out voice and it works just fine.

I asked ChatGPT 4o and it responded with this (I assume it’s the same issue for android as well) “The voice chat feature in the ChatGPT iOS app was temporarily disabled in early May 2024 due to technical issues. OpenAI is working on resolving these problems and plans to restore the feature soon. Keep an eye on app updates and announcements for the latest information on when voice chat will be available again.”

I think that the new audio capabilities will be exclusively for paid accounts once they roll it out. I think this is a great move. People on a strict budget should have some access to these tools, which are becoming more important every day

i could record audio messages to ChatGPT apparently with 4-Omni (calling it that so there is no confusion between it and the older 4.0). I didnt extensively test it at all but its apparently an option

I'm in the opposite heading boat. GPT 3.5 and 4 were ok toys for me, interesting, but to me personally, not worth paying for. Now GPT-4o, with audio and video and all the custom GPTs, that's worth paying for.

Even if you dont use anything except the standard models - 20 bucks is no money if you use the thing remotely for your job. Plus inferences are way faster.

Well it’s not a scam since it can do more than the free option I saw waayyyyy worst than that and thanks for the donators because without them gpt probably asked us to pay like 3 usd per month or something like that u know nothing is free servers are so expensive especially nowadays…..
