Dude pro tip, You can buy speciale moves and items in the main menu's shop and equipe them in the story mod

If I may give a bit advice: You should go to the warriors room and buy skills, I'd highly recommend Fighters body as it increases your max health for the fight. The shop also has other helpful skills as well. Also ki charge should be L1. Lastly, the command list also is a combo list which might help a bit too

Doto you can dodge hits by mashing the guard button while youre about to be hit but dodging will increase your stun gauge

Alright Doto, some training tips. Seems like this knowledge was missing from the 1st vid. - - tap towards your opponent + Ki button when they attack and you teleport behind them, costs 1 Ki bar. Hold L1 or pc equivalent to charge Ki. Tap guard as you opponents attack lands (physical or Ki) and you'll dodge or deflect it - costs a little ki. Transforming in opponents face stuns them. Hope these tips help.

Damn, Hard CPU doing guard cancels for bigger combos is sick. What's even better is that this isn't even the hardest difficulty for the story mode. Little tip for those playing the game too: Just like Burst Limit, there is a guard break, that even Frieza uses in the video. To do it, you need to dash (R1 + direction) and press triangle (kick for the game). In the same way, you can do a dash attack if you press square.

Doto your characters (Goku) won’t get stronger through just playing the story (besides transformations). To get skills like the kaioken, health increases, and more buffs, you have to go to the in-game shop. You should have enough Zeni at this point to get a few. The one you probably need the most is Fighter’s Body (health increase) but I don’t wanna backseat too much so you should find the other good buffs yourself. Good Luck!

Tips. When they go blue hyper mode, dodge. Stop trying to fight. You can't stagger them, and they'll be able to dodge infinitely behind you until their Ki drains. Piccolo would not be proud. Use the burst dash to gain distance, or possibly dodge when they use it against you. You can recover Ki manually, and bait them into doing it to in order to save yourself some pain and time to think. Only use the blue hyper mode when you have sufficient ki, and preferably full ki and when the opponent is low on Ki. Bait them into using the instant dodge behind, and do it to them. You can do it infinitely as long as you're in that mode. Also, use training mode to get better. There is a training mode.

Please do the whole thing and walk throughs for some of the other old school dbz games! This series is legendary already

I remember when I was a kid I played a DBZ game on my friends PlayStation that was similar to this (I think it was Budokai but I’m not completely sure) and I remember when I got to the Freiza fight I spent like 3 hours dying and retrying until I finally beat him, it was so hard for me. The imagery of fighting Freiza on a barren wasteland haunts me

Dude buy some skills at the skill shop for more health bars. To charge hold guard and double tap the back dash button (away from the opponent) and hold it on the second press. Absolutely a full playthrough man. These videos are hilarious.

I used to play this game all the time with my homie Robert. I forgot it existed til your first video. I have since beaten it on the hard difficulty. The only difference was I bought the skills from the warriors room. Btw charge is your L1 button. Or whatever L1 button on the controller your using if this is emulated on a pc. You're doing awesome, but I highly suggest the fighters body skill at least to get your health on par with theirs. Definitely picked up a sub from me. Thanks for the tip down memory lane.

No matter what anyone says. Back in the days of PS2 this was my all time DBZ game. To heck with Budokai - Infinite World was the shit that could hook me up for an entire night! I even learned a combo or two xD It was super fun to see you play it! :D My inner child thanks you for this video :v

The most important thing to learn is that to teleport out of a combo you need three bars of ki, and after every knock back you can do up to three teleport teleport hits by pressing L1 or X? I used to mash both as a kid cuz I didn’t wanna figure it out. There’s also a system which you can do a counterattack teleport, or simply do a regular teleport by holding away from your opponent. In ki burn mode (the blue aura) you can teleport infinitely, and if your opponent is in ki burn mode NOT doing a counter attack is quite beneficial, because then they can’t in turn do it back.

Doto my friend, I beat this game on hard when I was a kid. You just need to buy some skills, watch/charge your ki so you don’t get fatigued constantly, and mix your combos up between punch and kick buttons so you’ll get bigger combos plus you can use dragon fist as a combo ender.
