Hey. I am going to be going for a ride in a T880. And by looking at the interior, the T680 and the T880 looks almost alike dash wise due to that the two trucks have a similar dash. But I could tell this is an older model truck. I think if it's the T680 which I think that is what this one is, this one may have been one of the very few before they changed the gauge cluster.

Just an idea, after rolling landing gear down, leave handle unlatched, I say that because if they reload that trailer like 44000, the next driver could have a time getting the handle out of the craddle.craddle. I say that because it has happened to me before. Great videos though

The only advice I can give is to take some deep breathes and don't pay too much attention the trooper during your in-cab, pre-trip, and maneuvers. I assume you've done them all a million times so it shouldn't be any different then any of the previous times. The only time the trooper should have your attention is during the road test and by the time you get to that you've basically passed. Just don't hit anything, don't speed, and don't run any red lights or stop signs and you'll be fine. I remember going into my test at the beginning of Febuary I was crazy nervous, we all are and everyone in the future will be, just keep calm and you'll nail it!

@@leebenson4874 Truckers can make $200,000 to $400,000. GED or Highschool diploma required nothing more. Loser? LOL say that when you retire with 1mill and the Trucker has easily 3-4 times that cause they never go home or have time to spend money. Just bank it, and smart invest.

Man sometimes i wish i had help backin trailers. Im a mechanic so its only in our yard but i work overnight and backing trailers in a dark yard that’s completely full is a real pain. Especially since our yard is really small to begin with.

once had a fedex driver sitting at the fuel pump taking his 30. Asked him nicely hey man can you just pull forward so I can fuel you can still take your 30 but let me get my fuel and clean my windows while you do you. Do had the worst attitude and I never wanted to punch someone so badly. I hope he had to wait 30 mins in line to take a dump at the next truck stop

Hey Dave! I've been driving local for about a year and a half now but I'm going to be driving over the road in a couple of weeks. Wondering if you could make a beginners guide so to say. For over the road drivers or just a couple of tips and tricks that you wish you had known before driving.

Not a driver but a viewer who’s become acquainted with a couple of experienced drivers and KZfaq creators. Their suggestion is to plan your day as much as possible including backup options in case of delays. Use all available sources, including Google Maps aerial view, Trucker Path app, Google reviews of shippers/receivers, use a trucking specialized GPS in conjunction with Google Maps, etc.

Man, just keep it clean!!! Mind body and truck. Don't run your face off just use common sense and spend WISELY and invest what you save. You will want your face once you retire.
