Fun fact: If you transform in the RoG ruins as Wilba, the music will sound echoed. The sounds of nightmare phase and danger ambient bring it all together!

the choice of instrumentation in the hamlet OST really gives it that 19th century feel. lots of chimes brass and harpsichord. Hamlet is so bright colorful compared to RoG it's impossible to go back, and the OST and unique day dawn stingers for each season seals the deal

What if in this word, the pig monarch is chosen based on how fierce the werepig can get? The King is asleep during full moons, and nearly all pigs are indoors in Hamlet EVERY evening, so Wilba is the only way of checking.

Maybe you are right. Perhaps the pigs indoors are turning like a little, getting hairy or idk. You can stay in the shops at night, and they won't turn, so it's strange. Maybe the shopkeepers aren't part of the monarch. I wonder what's up with the guards though, they seem pretty normal at full moons. Otherwise it's a good theory you brought up.

Wilba's werepigism is described as a curse inherited from her father and his family, so presumably most pigs in Hamlet aren't afflicted with it whereas the tribal pigs in RoG do have werepigism. It's also one of the pieces of evidence toward the theory that the Pig King is Wilba's biological father.

@@YesterdaysMinder Yup, I thought about that earlier, but immediately threw away the theory, because it seems unlikely to me how could queen Malfalfa love someone like the Pig King. But it is said in the Pig King's vignette in DST, that him and his pigs left their home a long time ago. Maybe the Pig King looked more attractive when he was younger, or the queen had to marry him on her parents demand. Happened a lots of times in real life... But at least I wasn't the only one who thought about this.

It's actually possible to survive for awhile while starving, so long as you're not also tanking damage from combat. Werewilba has really high health, which also resets to full whenever you transform. So as long as you can make it a full day, you're fine.

@@xtdycxtfuv9353 I'm guessing because Werewilba gets night vision and toughness, without having to use any equipment. Since Adventure Mode tosses you into perilous situations without the option to bring stuff from home, or really to establish a new base once there, a natural edge like that can make all the difference.
