That was definitely the most spectacular ending ever. In one day: Dogpocalypse, Rik's little firestorm, Deerclops, and as a result, everyone was also insane.

This ended even better than I hoped it would. I am satisfied, live and learn.

the moment Rik light the twiggy trees on fire, I know it's gonna their demise. sigh. never light anything near the base. EVER. also have the combined status mod. it will help you greatly. also the fall and spring season is 20 day-ish and the winter and summer is 15 day-ish. so count it. its also wise to leave the base faraway at the near end of each season, because you may have a visit from the GIANTS like the deerclops do. for everybody, look at Jazz fighting style, its the best for killing almost everything. don't forget armor though. hope this help. :D

even though this episode ended in flames i thought it was a really good finale, and i could not stop laughing when i saw the bushes catch on fire. Anyway tips: i Always try to find the pig king in the first few days becouse not only his place makes a lovely base but in the birchnut forest where he resides there are always many mushrooms for veggie and racoon and moles for meat moreover if you need help during fights you can lead monsters there and let me think......Glommer(take his flower the night of the full moon to make him follow you and mine his statue for the blueprint of the old bell). it was a plasure watching you guys play this and i can't wait to see you try another don't starve adventure.

hey stumpt, I think you might wannna make two bases, that have a good enough distance so if this ever happens again, you will have a backup base, though it might be moe difficult. Along with that, try to pick characters that dont have really negative cons, like Rik, try picking the robot character, he heals with gears from the robot horses and lightning boosts him upmto like a super machine. And this time try to let Weeber make two spider spawners so he can not only have a backup for when the wolves arrive, but more spiders to grab spider glands so you can make those bowls that heal for 20 hp, that jaz used in one of te episodes. Along with that try making a flowr farm if possible, im not sure if its possible too, but try to. And next time put your base away from rivers maybe, or stick with the two bases being between the area. I dont know, i barely nkniw some basic things but im trying to be helpful. Stumpt fans commment tips too, so we all can learn how to help

The deerclops will almost always show up every winter past day 27 so its best to set up a secondary base to reduce the damage he does. you can also tank him if u have marble suits and good weapons.

Really enjoyed this series and I hope they try again if so heres a few tips. 1. Build a bird cage with gold, seeds and papyrus. Catch a bird with a bird trap, put it in the cage and feed it cooked monster meat or monster jerky for renewable eggs to make pierogis with 1 meat value, 1 egg, 1 veggie, 1 filler for 40 health a pop or go fishing with a fishing rod to make fish sticks with fish a stick and 2 filler for another 40 health. 2. Wigfrid Make Everyone helmets And Always Wear them the change in damage from not wearing any armour and wearing a piece of armour is massive. Unless you need warmth or to stay cool with a beefalo hat/winter hat and eyebrella/umbrella 3. When beefalo aren't mating (not red butts) feed one grass have it follow you away from the herd then hit it 3 times and run away until it does its attack animation rinse and repeat for beefalo horns to make beefalo hats which are much better warm clothing and meat supply. 4. When you hear growling/screen shakes run as far away from base as possible to kill Deerclops/Bearager put down a normal campfire (it isn't a structure that deerclops will destroy) and kite them. 5. If your are actually aiming to sleep for health and sanity (You noobs) build a tent it is much better than a shitty bed roll and actually heals you for much less hunger loss. As for mods I strongly recommend the essentials: - ice flingomatic range check - Grid placement for building - Disabling 99 stacks as it takes away a lot of the difficulty of inventory management you need to learn. - Global positions Mod to see each other on the map and by holding alt and left click make waypoints everyone can see on their maps - Smart Crock pot or your current crockpot mod - display food values - Coloured wormhole markers to see which wormhole goes where once you use it for the first time Really looking forward to season 2 see everyone there.

Spectacular finish! You did well for an inexperienced party. Jaz (hope I'm getting your name right) has some experience and was helpful to the group. Listen to her, guys! I hope you start another season soon. I've played a lot of single player, but never done DST and I know they've changed many things. Pro tip: your base is not a fort. You can't really build forts in this game. Things that attack you (giants and hounds) can tear through walls, some faster than others. I use walls, but for decoration and to help me get the spacing right so that I can protect it with flingos efficiently. I leave lots of gaps in case hounds spawn inside so that they can get out. When you are being attacked, get away from your base! Have a second fire pit half a screen away that you can fight around. For giants, get several screens away. Giants all want to destroy structures. As you can see, flammable walls can be problematic. Panic rooms for hounds were in fashion when the game came out, but I haven't built one in years. I find that being able to kite around is far more useful than trying to shelter behind walls. There are more hounds in DST, and four people kiting might not work as well. I just make a neat grid of 20-60 tooth traps and kite the hounds through them. Usually I can do it without getting hit. I seem to be the only one who thinks berry bushes are almost useless. I never bother planting them. I always plant saplings, you use more twigs than you think, and I plant 30-40 for single player. They don't require fertilizer so there's no down side. For some reason rot is terrific fertilizer for grass tufts, almost useless for anything else. Don't waste it on crops. Always carry in your pack: twigs, grass, flint, logs, log suit. Always carry in your inventory: weapon and a little food

Looking back from 2023 season, this is still glorious.

If you can build pigmen houses you should make a pigman village with just a cluster of houses near your base
