Major props for Wilson to immediately jump into a fight against a creature he’s never seen before to help his friends. With only a dark sword nonetheless.

Love seeing Wes in the mix. Darksword, no armor, what a legend.

I literally gasped when Wagstaff and WX looked at each other. The tension, the LOOOOORE. I also really like how Wilson takes up the dark sword to help his friends while Wagstaff just takes more notes and leaves. Really shows some good dichotomy between the scientists.

What a splendid animation, you guys really captured the intensity of the situation, specially between Wagstaff and Wx78. The sudden stare between the two and the theme from Wx’s rework, along with the fact that Wagstaff quickly looked away into his notes and vanished was just a bit heart wrenching, truly magnificent!

I imagine that encounter between WX and Wagstaff would go VERY differently if *they still had the empathy module. Just saying, Wagstaff would be glad he was just a projection.

Oh, I can't *wait* to see where this situation with Wagstaff and WX-78 will end up! I can't even explain how invested in their relationship I am. What exactly happened for things to turn out this way? What does WX-78 think, having caught a glimpse of him again? What in *hell* is Wagstaff planning now? Will they meet again and what would happen then? I am endlessly curious about this.

Things like this are why I love Wilson. He's so brave, rushing in to help without hesitation, when he could have just stayed in hiding. He's a good guy.

Wait, Wagstaff actually seems to be a good guy, or at least have some concern for others. He looks very concerned at the after effects of what his portal building was causing, and thus choses to help the survivors by making blueprints for the warbis armor. I thought we just stole the blueprints from some leftover structures of his we found, but turns out those were directly made to help us by Wagstaff. Perhaps I treated him too harshly before, he actually does not seem as morally grey as I thought and it might be possible to consider him slightly higher than a neutral alignment. Edit: Just noticed that Wagstaff built the armor using WX's blueprints, and teleported back upon seeing WX, so either seeing WX reminded him of the blueprints and gave him a new idea, or perhaps he truly cares about protecting his old friend, which gave him the final push to create the warbis armor

I was not prepared to see more lore about WX and Waggstaf!! omggg thank you Klei! and also I love the way it is animated!

I love this!! I’m really glad to see more content with Wendy and Abigail in it!! It was really cool seeing Wilson and Wagstaff together because it implies that they have been working on the project from Interferences!! But I especially like seeing WX-78 and Wagstaff crossing paths. I really did think that WX-78 was going to start a fight with Wagstaff or something more than staring at him. Although Wagstaff taking notes was interesting, I’m excited to see where that goes. And as always I love the work that goes into this game and all of its animations. And please make a Don’t Starve show!!!

Is that wilson's house that wagstff is in at the end? It's got the same sort of window (though the one Wagstaff is in has its middle fully broken instead of just the vertical post) and its walls has the same sort of wood & metal sheets you can see in the origin trailer of don't starve. Both places have the same sort of table under the window too.
