Is this the WORST hotel in Blackpool? By far the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed in! It wasn't going too bad until we hit the mattress and pillows! For £22, what do you think of my room at the Atlantis hotel in Blackpool? I was originally booked in at the New Athena hotel, but was swapped due to plumbing issues. Comparing the 2 hotels, I feel this was a very bad alternative to what I had booked and should never been offered this.

They can get away with providing you with basic accessories for that price, even no TV but there's no excuse for it to be filthy or unhygienic

@@Englishsea24Problem is the cleaners aren't given enough time to do a proper job. At £22 they want the cleaner in and out asap or they'd be losing money.

I love watching these types of videos, but all the ones I've seen centre around blackpool. it would be nice to see some who go further out into other places. But I'll never go to blackpool again unless I stay at premier inn, as these little hotels are shocking

My sister came last year for the funeral of a friend.Her hotel room was like a small apartment.Had a sink, microwave , fridge.Really clean and really nice.Most US hotels are very nice, many people also stay at Bed and Breakfasts here.But we also have horrible hotels and motels.

I wouldn't feel safe here as a lone female, i prefer to stay somewhere where there are staff on site at all times.

Ive stayed here twice in the past, a few years ago, and the place was lovely then, owned by a couple, who took care of the place, and the breakfast was really good, Im so glad you have shown this, because I would have thought of staying here in the future if needs be, how awful it is now.

I always do a carpet smell test, lol. I always bring flip flops to any hotel for the shower and walking around, just in case 😂

Its ok if your on a budget just turn the matress upside down and shake the duvet ...bottle of mould spray cost a £1

Stayed here, got home today actually (28th) very clean hotel room, staff barely around though as you said. We changed from the hotel avansi due to there being mold everywhere on the ceiling and in the shower.. Atlantis was great! They must have saw this video 😂

WHATEVER HAPPENED TO THE COUNCIL HOTEL INSPECTORS, OR HAVE THEY BEEN ALL MADE REDUNDANT DUE TO CUTBACKS.

I have stayed there with family never had any issues with the place the wifi would be the only issue really mostly in dining room downstairs but really liked the place and staff were lovely

Try the hotels on Barton avenue and Woodfield road. You may find a difference ,

For £22 they could at least provide a bucket of bleach in each room. I need a shower after watching this. Years ago Blackpool landladies were formidable and fastidious and ran their B&B's etc with great pride. They would be invited to the new shows on opening night, to review for their customers. They had the power to make or break a show. Now it's just dodgy business people determined to ruin the towns reputation for a quick buck.

Well it's a bargain basement establishment and all them things you highlighted could easily be put right if the cleaning staff had done there job properly Blackpool it seems has more than its fair share of dodgy guest houses I stayed in one years ago that had spunk on the headboard not good is it.

Sadly not the worst I’ve seen. If you want a really bad one go to London hotel in Stroud Gloucestershire that one is a million times worse than this.

Simple all this you simply do the reviews put on recently. Then its basically the info you need . Been a visitor to Blackpool probably 4 or 5 times a yr for northernsoul so seen it all down next weekend for grand national. Meeting of the waters winning it tip for you all 😂

I have watched a utuber a while ago, funnily enough the same happened to them, their hotel was worse than your, offer a good hotel then oops sorry we will have to move you here, scam? This possibly needs a good looking into! It also happened to my niece her fella and friends, she ended up ill when she returned home, beware who you book with!

Black mould in the bedroom, sweat stained all over the mattress & pillows, blood on the mattress, hair all over the room, mould in the bathroom. I’ve stayed in multiple Blackpool hotels even cheaper than this and they are far better…

2 I’ve done videos on which we’re much cleaner we’re the Orchid hotel at £17 and The driftwood hotel at £20. Then you’ve multiple others like myroomz seaview hotel, Jesmond, Golden strand, Beckwood etc. All even cheaper.

@@connormccairns2197 It's not about being easily pleased it's about KZfaqrs constantly slagging off Blackpool , every seaside town now is struggling and your gonna get Hotels guesthouses that are not up to scratch, but KZfaqrs are only using these hotels to get views .
