Ceiling LED lamps often stop working for 1 of 2 reasons - either a faulty driver or a burnt out LED. In this video, I explore reviving a non-working ceiling light by shorting out the contacts of the dead LED so that the remaining LEDs can work again.
This is great if you are trying to repair a custom LED light such as those integrated with a ceiling fan or specialty lightings that are otherwise impossible or overly expensive to get replacements for.

More reason to go back to Incandescent, no drivers and easier to replace.

Actually this entire led set is relatively inexpensive and easy to replace, which most people would probably do. This is more for the adventurous folks who want to extend the lifespan of their LED set 🙂

Ignoring poorly made products with bad drivers, there's no argument for filament or gas lighting in most situations anymore. It's more expensive per unit. Large and unwieldy. Costs far more to run. Generally shorter lifespan. Toxic... Modern LED's are far more versatile and produce brighter, cheaper, cleaner, and more efficient luminosity.
